Assassin’s Creed 2 retains the core gameplay experience that made the first opus a resounding success and features new experiences that will surprise and challenge players. Assassin’s Creed 2 is an epic story of family, vengeance and conspiracy set in the pristine, yet brutal, backdrop of a Renaissance Italy. Ezio befriends Leonardo da Vinci, takes on Florence’s most powerful families and ventures throughout the canals of Venice where he learns to become a master assassin. Ezio Auditore da Firenze is a young Italian noble who will learn the ways of the assassins after his family was betrayed and he looks to seek vengeance. He is a lady’s man, a free soul with panache yet has a very human side to his personality. Through him, you become a master assassin. Italy in the 15th century was less a country and more a collection of city-states where families with political and economic strength began to take leadership roles in cities like Florence and Venice. This journey through some of the most beautiful cities in the world takes place in a time in history where culture and art were born alongside some of the most auspicious stories of corruption, greed and murder.
- You will be able to perform missions when you want and how you want in this open-ended world that brings back free-running and adds elements such as swimming and even flying to the adventure. The variety in gameplay adds another layer for you to truly play through the game any way you choose.
- Discover a living, breathing world where every character is an opportunity for the player. Blending in with the crowd is easier, working with in-game characters provide ample rewards but can also lead to surprising consequences.
- Perfect your skills to become a master assassin where you brandish new weapons, learn to disarm enemies then use their weapons against them and assassinate enemies using both hidden blades.

Assassin's creed 2 is the follow up to assassin's creed 1. You start off as a italian nobleman, but you are later betrayed by the other families of renaissance. You will then seek vengeance upon those who betrayed you. The graphics were a bit of a let down, it lacked detail in the faces of the characters, the shadows were also very blocky, but it delivered perfect cities you will go in, it's almost as if you could touch them. In gameplay you can hire thieves, prostitutes, mercenaries to distract the guards. You also have a notoriety meter, if it is full guards will constantly be looking for you. In AC2 you get secondary missions that aren't really part of the story but if you complete them you will get a reward. In order to get perfect synchronization you need altair's special armor. You can also buy various weapons, and items. You may buy paintings and different colors to your outfit. Assassin's creed is better than assassins creed hands down. You can buy DLC(down loadable content) to learn more about the story. But there are still a lot of secrets to uncover

Assasins creed 2 is a brilliant game and owns the previous assasins creed game in the face . In assassins creed 2 you play as another ancestor of desmond known as etzio addatorie daferenzo in more modern time where you use two hidden blades instead of one and you get a hidden gun later on in the game . But not like the other assassins creed 1 where you just get the new weapons and assassination teqniques as you go on woth the game you get them by getting codecs pages left by the great ancestor altair . The weapons and game play is way more advanced than altairs and you can own people in the faces

An excellent follow up to Assassin's Creed I. Tighter controls, much more fluid and manageable combat. And the medieval cities are just gorgeously recreated. Get this game if you are a history buff (and don't mind artistic license), a closet-assassin or just a lover of sandbox games (or all of the above).
