Supplier out of stock
Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

Ah, Mr Brown, what have you been up to? I suggest that you all go and check out the DA VINCI LEGACY. this book was written in 1983 and the similarities between it and Mr Brown's book are quite scary.Do a google, you will be amazed. Oh btw, you can get The Da Vinci Legacy from Take 2.

Dan Brown's smooth, informative style of writing really captures the imagination and spirit of the reader.
With a brilliantly thought-out and extensively researched plot-line, he delves into the psyche of the reader, pulling levers and pushing buttons you didn't even know were there.
Where other fact-based authors fail, Dan Brown succeeds in enveloping you in a world that very-well may exist.
Drawing on 2000 years of human history, he creates a fast-paced murder-mystery that not only suffices as an excellent thriller, but also succeeds as a literary tour of England and France, a handbook for symbology and a beginner's guide to riddle-breaking.
Going to enormous measures to ensure the accuracy of many of the facts in the book, he manipulates those facts in such a way as to benefit and progress his plot, in an effort to create an entirely plausible scenario. By his own admittion, many of the facts that progress this storyline were used entirely out of context and as such, even for those of the affected religeous affiliation, this makes for an excellent read, as long as the story is read for what it is: A story.
At the risk of sounding cliched, this was a definite page-turner and I quite literally couldn't put it down.
A must-read for anybody who plans on watching the movie that will be released in May of this year.

One of those you read about it in fiction and before you know it ,it's happening all around you! A complete no-no for Catholics and Rome.
Jean, South Africa. 17 March 2005
Not the classic it's been made out to be. Mr. Brown had the chance to make a real classic but instead blew it on all the cliches he could muster. It takes more than half of the book just to get the plot moving along and even afterwards its the same scene played over and over again, with different puzzles.
Side note, if you are easily offended by anti-religous views then you should avoid it. (when i say religous i mean the church).
Riaan, Louis Trichardt. 20 March 2006
I really liked this book. It's got a fast pace, interesting characters and really makes you think. Dan Brown has got an easy to read writing style and keeps the suspense going right through the whole book. He really did his research and sparked a worldwide debate.
That being said, I didn't like that it was basically the reworked plot of Angels & Demons.
Still a thought provoking, interesting read though. I recommend it.
