Of course you want to know — When do I get it?


We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:

If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).

If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.

If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).

If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.

We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.

And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.

Description

The Fujifilm FinePix S2995 is a DSLR-like Bridge Camera without the bulk of a DSLR. It has an 18x zoom, Electronic Viewfinder as well as the 3.0” LCD monitor, plus there is full manual control high sensitivity and lots of advanced shooting features.

Fujinon 18x Wide Angle Zoom
The Fujinon 18x Wide Angle Zoom lens has a superb equivalent zoom range of 28-504mm which covers everything from fitting in large groups to detecting details a long way away. For that bit of extra enlargement, there is also a 6.7x Digital Zoom feature.

Fast Shooting and Dual Image Stabilisation
The Dual Image Stabilisation on the S2995 uses two technologies to stop you getting blurred pictures. The first is Sensor Shift IS which mechanically compensates for small camera movements and the second is High ISO (up to ISO 6400 at 3MP) sensitivity which allows for faster shutter speeds to be used. 
If action photography is your requirement then there is Burst shooting, having 1.2 frames per second at full resolution, up to 8fps at lower pixel counts.

HD Movies
Records HD movie footage in 720p HD quality at 30fps and can record in 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio. The HDMI socket allows movie playback onto HDTV sets plus Full HD stills playback.

Auto Modes
The FinePix S2995 has a choice of automatic modes depending on preference and level of automation. In SR Auto (Scene Recognition) mode, the camera automatically chooses the most appropriate scene type from 6 possibilities: Portrait, Landscape, Night, Macro, Night Portrait, and Backlit Portrait. For a little more user control, there are 17 Scene Modes where you can pick what king of scene is being photographed.

Fantastic People Photos
The S2995 has several features dedicated solely to producing great images of people. Face Detection detects up to 10 faces in any frame and optimises exposure and focus. In this mode there is automatic red eye removal and a zoom-in feature for individual faces. Playback can be in slideshow format to leaf through the detected faces.
In addition there are Blink Detection and Smile & Shoot Mode modes. The first one warns you when it’s possible your subject might have blinked and the second feature will wait until you smiles before tripping the shutter.
