The Celestron Land and Sky telescope is an entry telescope for beginners and children. It is suitable for terrestrial viewing and for looking at the night sky.

Not worth the asking price - unless you don't mind buying an expensive childs toy...because this is exactly what it is. Although the optics is almost as powerful as they claim, the flimsy design makes it extremely hard to focus it on a specific target in the sky.
On top of that, the tripod design makes aiming the telescope upwards extremely impractical to use (as the viewfinder drops to a very uncomfortable height).
To make matters worse, the finder scope on the side is less than useless as it doesn't lign up with the scope itself (even after numerous adjustments).
Finally - if you eventually manage to get it focused on a point, the image is inverted, and always remain fuzzy.
I bought it on a daily deal for half price - I would have been really upset if I paid the full price for this. The only thing its really useful for, is to use an interesting ornament for your living room/study.

1 Star is being generous.
This telescope is absolutely useless and one cannot focus it on anything due to the bad and flimsy design.
Image is inverted.
Do not waste your time or money on it

Susan, South Africa. 30 December 2016
Biggest load of rubbish, made of mainly plastic and parts keep breaking, very disappointing that my grandson didn't even get to use his Christmas present. Very poorly made item.
Lindi, South Africa. 8 February 2016
Absolute rubbish. Unsteady, light weight and not even suitable for a child never mind a "beginner" as stated. Don't waste your money!
Francois, South Africa. 12 September 2015
Terrible quality - below current toy standard. Cheap hard plastic parts. Optics truly awful. Tripod clamp broke on assembly. Going back.
Joanne, South Africa. 8 January 2016
Very disappointed in this product, Optics are shocking one cannot see anything at night. Wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this item. Piece of rubbish
Gary, South Africa. 12 October 2015
My stand clips broke within a week, very flimsy tripod stand, very hard to move it around and stop it at exactly right spot.
Braam, South Africa. 8 December 2016
Badly put together. Can not keep it standing still. Not the best choice for a beginners telescope
