Stinks. A lot.
I was halfway convinced that we were going to be poisoned by the noxious fumes emanating from this chunk of overpriced coal with anthracite. It was still ponging 25 minutes after ignition (supposed to be ready for cooking within 10 minutes. It stopped flaming and smoking after about 3 minutes, but no way one can braai/roast meat while it stinks like that). The heat produced is also not near to that produced by ordinary briquettes/triquettes. I'll be sticking to triquettes or lump charcoal in my SAFire Roaster from now on...Even though I have to wait longer before I can start cooking.

i love these cobble stones, it is ready to use in 4 minutes
the smell is gone quickly
it is made from coconut hairs
it lasts two hours and produces a lot of heat
i cut it in half if i want slow cook (one brick can last 4 hours then; easy to prepare second piece because it is lit in 4 min)
