Not as powerful as I was hoping for, but extremely easy setup. Biggest con is very short power lead.
Jaco, South Africa. 8 April 2014
WORKS great - daisy chain great

Excellent AP! Great speeds and range and not a single problem!

Outstanding Product, Have bought two of these!!
Rudi, South Africa. 14 August 2014
I bought this (not from Takealot though) to use as a wireless range extender. Long story short, it's garbage, do not buy it if you want to use it for that...
Frank, South Africa. 22 August 2014
Does exactly what I wanted it to do!!
Kevin, South Africa. 4 November 2014
Great little range extender that anyone can configure. Range is excellent; picked up Wifi signal far beyond where other devices had lost it. There's no need whatsoever to spend any more than this.
Raj, South Africa. 6 November 2014
Cheap and Cheerful, and work like a bomb. Had some issues with WiFi roaming, when mixing brands of WiFi AP's, so I now only use these as AP's and all problems have been solved.

Works well and extended my wifi range well. Simple to set up and powerful
Peter, South Africa. 8 September 2015
Very simple setup. Seems rock solid. Will probably buy another soon for another part of the house. I really like the repeater functionality.
Twanji, South Africa. 2 March 2016
So far so good. Does what I need it to do for now.
Fernando, South Africa. 5 September 2016
Great product and good value for money
Ingrid, South Africa. 4 December 2014
Good Wifi signal, works very well.
Allan, South Africa. 8 December 2014
This an excellent access point for the price.
Easy to configure and throws a very strong signal.
Craig, South Africa. 8 December 2014
Once I got it working, it did what I purchased it for.
Not sure if I missed something with the setup, but the initial setup of just plugging it in did not work(DHCP). On the computer I connected to it, I had to force a static IP, and not rely on DHCP to assign one to it.
Spiros, South Africa. 9 December 2014
Tried the various configuration options. They all work as advertised. Thumbs Up!
annie, South Africa. 16 December 2014
Disappointingly i have been unable to get it up and running with my macBook pro
Rob, South Africa. 11 March 2015
Installation of this product is not easy. In spite of the assurances of simplicity in the manual, it took my company's network specialist to get it to work. The product works well once installed, but make sure you have the right assistance in place.
Louis, South Africa. 14 April 2015
Excellent strength - using it as a wireless access point.
Nathan, South Africa. 11 August 2015
I am using this device as an access point. It works perfectly. Good value for money. It was easy to setup and does come with instructions. The only minor flaw is that the power cable is too short. It thus limits the positioning of the device.
Matthew, South Africa. 7 April 2016
Using as a wireless access point to an existing wired network - does the job nicely
Andries, South Africa. 15 April 2016
Did not work so well. Sent it back
Johan, South Africa. 11 May 2016
Any number of schedules can be set for switching the wi-fi on for a specified time on a specified day, BUT only one of these schedule can be active at any time. You have to manually select the schedule to activate it. I found this very limiting. The device can not determine for itself which schedule should be activated. It can not automatically choose between a number of schedules to see if wi-fi should be on or off.

In short, these are garbage, stay away. I bought two of these and set them up as wireless AP's connected to a switch via Cat5e. Initially, I thought they were fine. However, over time the WiFi performance degrades and becomes unstable. Media streaming to wireless devices was hit and miss, internet browsing was being impacted. I learnt to just reboot them every other day, which resulted in an acceptable level of service. I recently replaced them with better quality AP's and the difference has been night and day. Do yourself a favour and spend the extra money and buy better quality, you won't regret it. Ubiquiti

So setting this up in repeater mode is literally a breeze, just....
plug it in to your router
get the IP address
put it into repeater mode
Add in the wifi's Password (Or use WPS if you want)
accept it's ip if you have a Wireless MAC filtering setup
