This is the 2nd one I'm buying. Previous one still going strong. Even though it's not PCI-E, I still getting around 100MB/s over SMB / NFS. Even get up to 70MB/s using SCP. As an example, I can copy a 3.5GB file in about 50 seconds. That's close to hard drive speeds. Of course you'll need a Gigabit switch and at least a CAT-5 cable.
