We got this label maker today, and so naturally we went around putting labels on everything (including the label maker itself). The labels look and feel great, and overall are very easy to read. One problem we had with it is that the tape sometimes becomes jammed in the maker, or the tape doesn't move up and letters get printed over each other. That's a little frustrating, but we were able to work through it. It's very easy and natural to use, and obviously the labels are instant. Given the price it's a rather exemplary tool! Highly recommended.

LOVE IT! And I can't stress that enough. The Dymo label maker gives my projects a very vintage and grungy feel, and its a lot cheaper than having to buy tape for my Brother label maker. I don't have to feel guilty when I want to label everything and anything.
Only complaint is that if you don't put the tape in just right, the "letter ring" will hook on it and make a big mess.

A bit flimsy and finicky at first, but does the job as long as you insert the tape properly and apply a generous amount of force very carefully.

This is a great little labelers, it cheap and its refills are cheap as well. The only thing I have to complain about is that the letters are not always perfectly aligned. That is to say some letters may be half a millimeter higher or lower than the one next to it. Keeping that in mind I would recommend this labelers to anyone who often needs to unique labels. I would recommend a printer type device for those who use the same labels again and again.

A bit on the old school side, but still works great. Just like the other reviews above says about loading the tapes and lining up of the lettering. i find that holding the trigger a little while longer gives a better end result with labelling...

I bought this for my mom. She loves it. It's easy to use and she's labeled a ton of containers. You do need to be patient and you need to apply some pressure.

absolute rubbish thing broke in two seconds and didn't work
don't buy it

Pros: Very easy to use, clear text, great glue.
Cons: Cannot put marked items in dishwasher - the glue sticks, but the text fades.

I bought this label maker about a year ago, haven't even used up all the tape in the machine and it stopped working, it no longer punches the letters and gets stuck constantly. Not a very good buy.

I grew up in the 70's with this Dyno's pre-decessor. Still a great and affordable labeling device. No diasappointment here.

Love this! Have labelled everything (including the label maker, of course!) I love the vintage look of the embossed labels. To some, the imperfect spacing and alignment might be a dealbreaker, but I think it's super charming, it's gives everything an industrial look.
It's not the sturdiest machine and I highly recommend keeping the little insert that tells you how to refill the tape, as it's a bit tricky. And once in a blue moon it will glitch and type letters over each other, but it's not a big deal. Although I must say, if you have a big labeling project, don't try do it all at once, as my hand tired pretty quickly.
Overall I'm really happy! I hope it lasts, but I've already gotten through the first 3m tape with no problems. Would recommend.
