Excellent cooler. Temperature drop of 40-50%. Running Quad Core Q6600.
Extremely silent, even at fastest fan speed. Altho, i did not notice a temp difference with running fan at highest or slowest speed.
And this thing is huge - it just made it to fit in my case (X7 X-Station) - about 1mm gap between this and my PSU.
Definetly worth the buy

This thing is massive! Keeps the cpu cold, not just cool, and I am keeping the fan on the slowest setting. Noisy on the fast setting, but I have never needed to change the speed from the slowest setting.

This is the best CPU Cooler. I've got a Haf 922 case with this cooler, my CPU hottest temp is 35 degrees under load, and the fan is spinning at 720 rpm!

First of all this my first review, so here it goes...
I have an Intel core i5 750 @ 2.667GHz (quad core) with an P7P55D-E EVO main board
the base clock temp at idle is roughly at 30 degrees celsius with load at 42 degreas celsius
when I started oveclocking I witnessed the following : at 4.0GHz the idle is at 42 degrees celcius at 80% load ( I ran dragon age:origins at the highest setting possible while refreasing the widows experiecne index ) the temp rose to 68 degrees celsius! even at 4.4GHz the temp was 74 degrees celsius at my own stress test
the final line is that this cooller is almost second to none for its price and you should take measurements before installing it. Overall it is simply awesome and it has looks to boot
you won't regret this buy, trust me

Here is a public review from the pro's. Very good cooler for its price, but poor ventilation for OCing.

When you look through the perspecs window of your side pannel and you see the "CoolerMaster V8" peering out, it is without a doubt the meanest looking heat-sync you can get. I have mine set half way between min and max, and the cooling efficiency is phenomenal! but even at max it's still one of the quietest PC's I've seen!
Johan, I don't know why yours is loud at its max, but mine is very quiet.

Excellent Cooler! I stress test CPU at 100% and temp stayed at 33C. I disable Q fan speed and get even higher RPM- 2150, which is very good!
The V8 is massive. Make sure it fit in your case. Very nice after market CPU cooler and is excellent for keeping your CPU Cool.
