Dispatched in 4 to 7 working days
Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

What mobos are you guys using?
Will this work on a pci express 1.0 board?
JP, Heidelberg. 3 May 2011
got this card last week and started playing games the weekend. found that the card seems to overheat/ and or crash when playing crysis2 and similar graphics intensive games. updated to 270.XX driver package and no change.
running a coolermaster atcs840 chassis with excelent ventilation, and a ocz600 psu so that is not the prolem.
according to the below link it could be a couple things

Great card so far. And very good price by Take2.
Also have idle temps of around 30 and under load just exceeds 60.
Very silent cooling design, can't be heard at all over my case fans.
Maxes everything I've thrown at it so far at 1080p.
Eben, Stikland. 18 April 2011
Awesome Card indeed, but can get a bit loud, but that doesn't bother me at all, great price from take 2
I don't think it is backward compatible to PCI-E 1.0, if it backward compatible it will be a huge bottleneck for this graphics card.
I am currently using a A-bit AN78GS motherboard but waiting for my new one, Asus M4A89TD Pro / USB3

Top marks to nvidia for this card! Performance is very good for how much you pay! The jaw-dropping temps this card got was 36 degree's and the hottest under furmark was 69 degrees. All the while the fan is whisper quite. And this is in sunny and hot durban! Great card gigabyte...
Robert, Helderberg. 10 June 2011
This video card is a dream under Linux. It gives a reading of 23990 with glmark2. Very quiet, cool and low power usage. Temp is normally 22 degrees C. Graphics are very smooth. I presume it is just as good with microsoft operating systems.
Jonathan, MONUMENTPARK. 5 October 2011
No problems with this card at all, Fast, effeciant and fantastic rendering especially with DX11. No overheating problems as others mentionned but that would depend on case airflow. All in all a brilliant card
Dylan, WINGATE PARK. 24 October 2011
Card runs great. Stays cool and quiet. Installed in a PCI express 1.x motherboard with no problems; performance loss compared to a PCI express 2.0 motherboard seems negligible.
