Of course you want to know — When do I get it?

We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:

If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).

If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.

If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).

Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.

And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.

Photolab-quality and superb document prints
Produce superb quality printed documents and images with impressive levels of detail, thanks to Canon’s FINE technology with 2pl ink droplets and up to 4800x1200dpi print resolution. FINE cartridges use dye-based inks for perfect photo printing, while an additional pigment black ink ensures crisp, sharp text. Combining quality and speed, the PIXMA iP2700 prints a 10x15cm borderless photo in approximately 55 seconds with default settings.

Realistic document print speeds
Canon supports the industry-wide ISO standard for measuring print speeds. This makes it easy for you to select the right PIXMA based on real print performance. The PIXMA iP2700 offers ISO ESAT speeds of 7.0ipm for mono documents and 4.8ipm for colour.

Intelligent features and software
Easy-WebPrint EX is intuitive software that makes it easy to clip, edit and print information from the web: organise multiple clippings on a single page to save paper. Auto Photo Fix II is advanced software that corrects a wide range of common image faults including underexposure. Using sophisticated Scene Analysis and Face Detection technology, problems such as red eye are swiftly eliminated. Exposure levels of separate parts of an image are optimised for best results.

A bit noisy, and comes with no tray to catch printed paper, but at that price, you just cannot go wrong as it does its job very well. Note that it comes with both black + white and colour cartridges worth more than the actual printer, so seriously, you CANNOT go wrong. Buy this if you want a simple, value-for-money printer for everyday documents and photos.
