It is nice and big with excellent colours. I read on the Samsung site that it has a height adjustable stand but it does not, that is why it's not getting a 10 from me. It is excellent for console using HDMI. Although the speakers are terrible you can just plug in as pair of PC speakers into the monitor and it is perfect. No need for special audio adapters or wires.

My feeling is that it's either your graphics card or it's your monitor, however the only way to know for sure is to plug a different monitor into your pc. If that monitor works, you know that your Samsung is buggered. If that other monitor also doesn't work, then you know the problem lies perhaps with your graphics card or elsewhere.

Bought mine as n present for myself... and not disappointed at all. nice upgrade from the 19 wide LG LCD,
the colours are rich and bright, tested with my Lacuna Coil DVD and Crysis always looked great but now it looks unbelievable!!! think my game skills might have actually improved (hehe)
For its price and what you getting in cant be beaten. Just a note i have HP530 laptop the samsung screen doesn't play nice when using the external port but i suspect the video card might not be strong enough.
Furthermore i would like to thank TAKE2 for always supplying me with service unmatched!!

This screen is extremely large and gorgeous. Best money I have spent on my PC yet! And it can definitely tilt from a perfect vertical position about 30 degrees backwards.

Hi
I bought this monitor in April 2009. Everything was just dandy untill 20mins ago, the colours faded out and the montitor went black, now it flashes on every now and then bit then ends up dark again. I have tried various cables and connections, nothing. Any advice?

Excellent product. I bought this monitor mainly for gaming purposes, and I'm not one bit disappointed. The HDMI capability is quite handy, so is the monitor speakers, albeit the latter being unnecessary and won't probably be used at all.
The picture is crisp and clear, the only negative point I can attribute is the maximum refresh rate of 60 Hz. If you want to use it for gaming, and have a relatively powerful graphics card to run games at these high resolutions, this is a great buy.

At first i had a few probs getting the screen settings just right, but after that its just been an awesome buy! Worth every last cent!!

This is a beautiful monitor at an excellent price. Its 50000:1 contrast ratio provides vivid colours and a deep black. My (few) complaints of the monitor however, are all design choice flaws.
The choice to make touch sensitive buttons is very irritating, as you need to shine a light directly at the buttons to see the text, and they are quite sensitive to misplaced fingers. And the DOES NOT support component/composite. Only VGA, DVI, and HDMI. And an audio in and out headphone jack. Stereo, in other words. No support for a 5.1 system without linking the visuals through a home theatre system with HDMI in and out.
All said and done, you could go very much worse when buying a HD monitor. You find very few 24(23.6)inch monitors below R3500 and those often dont support full 1080p. So this is a great choice, and very welcome in my home.
Just to truly summarise, Has VGA/DVI/HDMI, audio in/out, full 1080p video. Bad on

same complaint. The stand.
You dont buy screens for their speakers so the speakers are not even a reason for complaining.
So far very happy with screen. The extra 30 pixels top to bottom makes no difference but the extra on the side suuuuure is comfy for those dialog boxes in MAX and Photoshop.
So pretty much happy. One observation, it seems to have a strong blue tint to its white. Can see blue tint when screen is "off" or showing full black.

It works for me (the touch sensitive buttons sux BIG)
