If you are looking for something better, this is it. Just as good as the Derwent equivalent, or so my wife the artist says. Comfortable grip.
She does do strange things, though, for instance: why buy the pencil when sometimes you use the smallest paintbrush I have ever seen, lick it, and then use the point of the pencil to get some paint to paint with? And then at other times a colouring pencil is just a colouring pencil.

Beautifully packaged set of pencils, coming in a sturdy tin. Highly pigmented, yet soft pencils so there's no need for tons of pressure to get vivid or opaque colouring. I can't quite say how they are used wet yet but I can tell from the pigmentation and softness of the pencil it is perfectly suited for that kind of use especially when compared to other watercolour pencils I own. I'd also say they're not so soft, as some pencils can be where you start pressing harder and immediately you need to re-sharpen it because you're using so much, not at all with these in my opinion. The grips on the pencils also make for very comfortable experience. Definitely a worthy purchase if you're looking for something special.
