Payment options
Word on the street is that cash is king!
Because we love giving you the most awesome online experience ... we now offer a COD (cash on delivery) payment option on certain orders.
That's right people, we're giving you even more choice than ever before! (as if that's even possible).
We think you'll be just as chuffed as we are about it.
So how exactly does COD (cash on delivery) work?
Simple really ... when placing your order(s) online, simply select COD as your preferred payment method and only pay for your goods when you receive them. Please have your cash ready when they get to your door!
If COD is not applicable to a particular product, we'll make it very clear on the product page.
At this point, COD is available for orders delivered within certain geographical areas and on select products based on value, if you don't see it as an option, then our nifty system has excluded you based on where you stay. If you aren't sure about where you fit in, just give us a shout and we'll help out - 0861 222 989 or info@takealot.com

Diego, Wilgeheuwel. 1 November 2011
Its not Activision m8, its Megarom who importing it here.
Rudi, South Africa. 24 March 2012
Just a headsup , I've been playing the beta for this for a while. Tried all the different backbones, shaped/unshaped, capped/uncapped home/business adsl accounts. the lowest latency i could get was 400ms, ..and that was on a good few minutes, it jumps from 500-800 ALOT.
So unless its just beta thats being hosted somewhere silly, i would not recommend wasting your time on this, as lag in d3 = dead, demon hunter/monk dies extremely fast if you lag alot.
Other than that, the game is extremely good.
Pieter, South Africa. 30 June 2012
If there's any hick-ups on the Battlenet network/servers, this game is useless even in single player mode. Even when there doesn't seem to be any problems, the game can feel laggy at times (this is a big problem during battles). It's the 30th of June, due to a 4 day outage on SAT3, my service-provider is re-routing data through other up-stream providers. They are obviously throttling the crap out of everything that isn't email or accessed via a web-browser, so guess what.. I can log into the game and move only a few steps before I'm disconnected (on my own private single player game). For such a steep price tag, one shouldn't be experiencing all these problems.
Nice graphics, but very short (and often frustrating) game-play. What a letdown.
Darryn, WESTMEAD. 7 November 2011
The price will most prob change closer to release and if you look around this price is nowhere close to console price maybe older ones yeah
personaly i cant wait for this to come out they have really put allot of work into this game, cant really say the same for there kung fu pander expansion for wow.
Patrick, . 4 January 2012
'always on' DRM, no LAN -> no sale
Josua, BELLVILLE. 31 October 2011
how accurate is the price? That's almost console range....
Damn activision ripping off the world
Jerome, HOUT BAY. 4 January 2012
The online only pllay will also allow an ingame-real money economy for items.
As we all know D2 was a joke with simply cloning items, or even stat padding items & stats. Not that everyone did those things, but everyone was able to. This will (hopefully) eliminate any of that kind of behaviour.
Paul, VORNA VALLEY. 22 September 2011
No LAN support and constant internet connection required. Very poor game.
Angelo, South Africa. 15 May 2012
It's been a long 12 years! I think to myself finally I can feast with my eyes on a fresh copy of Diablo 3! Oh wait error 37 and some rubbish about the servers being full! Honestly sooooooooo many people pre ordered the game could they have not planned ahead!
Dirk, South Africa. 3 July 2012
Brilliant game already at lvl60 with my monk and still going strong. I'm on isdsl uncaped shaped account and I get around 220-280ms. Sometimes the game reaches a high latency but it doesn't happen a lot. Worth every penny and I bought the collector's for R800.
Brent, South Africa. 19 October 2012
Absolute waste of time.
Dane, South Africa. 23 April 2012
This will be good, but not as good as Borderlands 2.
Philip, DOORN. 9 November 2011
The price is totally insane... just like starcraft 2 totally nutter... i will not buy any games that is over R200...
Mercia, South Africa. 11 July 2012
I am so upset about this game that I waited for so long, I can't play it because I need internet and where I stay the connection is not favourable so guess what I haven't even played the game. Why do we have to have internet to play the game?????????
Graeme, South Africa. 9 May 2012
Great game, just feel ripped off for all the DRM, constantly online with no lan...
Leon, South Africa. 23 April 2012
I have been playing the the Beta release for this game, and even though there is a limited amout of the game in the beta version, it is amazing. I am totally addicted from just playing a few levels. I would hihgly recommend this game to any Diablo inthusiast. I just hope that the collector's edition will become available again.
The graphics are really awesome and they have managed to stay with the same feel as the previous Diablo releases. What I like is the inclusion of a crafting option where you are able to train the blacksmith so as to improve the crafts.
Vaughn, South Africa. 15 April 2012
Awesome game
Graham, South Africa. 27 October 2011
which version is this? I want the Collectors edition!
Lamont, DANA BAY. 3 November 2011
I will pay R1000 for this game. Been waiting far too long and can't wait. The demo's and trailers is one thing, but playing online will be the ultimate.
Percy, Aggeneys. 18 October 2011
Hey Get with the new age of gaming, LAN is unfortunately ancient these days in games, the new Battle.net is just as good as LAN. everyone have Internet these days also... so don't sulk
Jason, South Africa. 19 June 2012
Worth every penny! Even worth the aggravation of the server issues...awesome game once again, Blizzard.
Louis, Aston Manor. 19 November 2011
I've already ordered the collector's edition; it was only available for a short time. http://tinyurl.com/cxff4zx It seems many people want it. At what amount should I start the bidding? :-)
Oh, and it's going to be a game that "beyond brilliant" does not even begin to describe.
Abraham, STELLENBOSCH. 1 November 2011
way to expensive for a pc game
Brian, South Africa. 5 June 2012
Abandon all hope ye who enter here.
Not at all happy with it. Visually not very impressive(apart from some very self-congratulatory in-game cinematics). Yes the cutscenes are pretty but that doesn't make up for a very poor game experience. Apart from average visuals the gameplay is horrendous(if the servers are up)because of the latency issues(See the Zero Punctuation review-I honestly agree with Yahtzee). For the price paid, the game is a very poor offering due to the frustration and aggravation you have to endure just to be able to log in.When it's playable it's enjoyable enough, but it's really just more of D2 really(yes the story is different but so what,we were hoping for something exceptional-at least I was-as it took a decade or more to create). In any case I really don't think it's worth the money, but that's just my opinion. Buy with caution, and if you find yourself pulling your hair out...
Christopher, South Africa. 4 May 2012
Can't wait for this game to come out! Just a few more days! Played the beta and...well, IN LOVE!!!! Can follow the countdown on http://www.diablo3countdown.co.za/ oh yeah!
Pierre, South Africa. 22 May 2012
I gave this a 4 star, because of all of the errors and no offline play. Otherwise it is an awesome game, well worth the wait. Excellent graphics and game play!
Sean, South Africa. 19 May 2012
Diablo III is fantastically polished game that is screaming for co-op play and hours of treasure hunting beyond the single player experience. It hosts a smooth fighting set and intuitive skill system that is different to Diablos-gone-by but never the less effective.
After the first day jitters where countless numbers of gamers got error 37 and 75 - Blizzard have balanced the ship and the low latency issues can easily be rectified by adjusting certain settings in the game. However there are the occasional ping spikes that educe heart attacks when the servers are under strain.
Hack 'n slash fans who complain about the changes and the always on DRM are only excused if they don't have the bandwidth to spare - otherwise you are missing out.
Daniel, KING WILLIAMS TOWN. 9 January 2012
10 YEARS of Waiting...Cant Wait to play this!!!
Brian, Tokai. 15 November 2011
I think its going to be a great game. the price is a little much, but for any new game you wont get a price under R300
Tyronne, South Africa. 14 March 2012
This Game will keep me awake for years hahah
Jacques, South Africa. 12 March 2012
Great Game!! Been playing the series since the first one came out.
Can't wait for it to be released.
Ashley, Edgemead. 25 October 2011
I like how that dude says Poor game basing it on not having LAN... Fail
Matthew, South Africa. 13 November 2012
It has its moments, the in game movies in particular are fantastic. However, the storyline just good, not great, just good. The graphics are okay and the game play is fairly easy to grasp. However, if you want to play the game on the more difficult settings you'll need help from the auction house, which is somewhat disappointing. Overall, the game is good, but not great.
Lloyd, South Africa. 8 October 2012
Just go check the review on amazon.com
This game is a complete waste of time, seriously. Blizzard's drive behind this game is clearly the Real Money Auction House, at the complete neglect of their player base.
The game gets worse with each patch, as they try to force their players to use the RMAH.
Jonty, South Africa. 20 May 2012
Excellent game, excellent storyline and can get very challenging.
Alex, . 3 November 2011
This game is going to be splendid! i come from Diablo 1 + 2 days and seriously look forward to this release! you guys whining about no local LAN and price being too high are being unreasonable. Almost everyone has internet these days (especially overseas where +95% of Blizzard's sales will be), connecting through Bnet actually provides for a richer, more consistent experience, and the price is really not that bad, given the insane value for money relative to other titles.
Chad, South Africa. 29 April 2012
Diablo 3 is expected to be an amazing game, I myself have seen and tried the beta and it will be excellent.
Stefan, . 20 January 2012
This game is going to be awesome.
I can't understand why everyone interested in games does not have or limited internet connection. Buy yourself a Nintendo 16bit and your nearest cash&carry.
Pieter, South Africa. 27 June 2012
Pretty disappointing.
If you re new to the Diablo franchise, give it a skip. If you are a long time Diablo fan, you may want to see how they close / butcher the Diablo story line.
Rather wait till it's in the bargain bin.
