Supplier out of stock

Of course you want to know — When do I get it?

We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:

If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).

If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.

If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).

If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.

We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.

Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.

And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.

If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

Awesome! If you're new to online gaming and don't really care what region server you're on, then you need to get this. Totally addicitve and dynamic gameplay,as well as the chance to interact with people all over the world, in fact on some of the quests you have to, because they just aren't possible on your own. That makes this game brilliant.

Fallen Empire: WoW guild Recruiting.....

Fallen Empïre is a Horde WoW guild on the Stormrage (US) realm.
We are a South African (GMT+2) guild.
We are primarily focused on PvE end-game content raiding, although we also have some dedicated PvP'ers, so don't let that put you off.

We are just starting up but have all the intentions of going all the way. So if you are interested please visit us at www.fallenempire.co.za or contact us at inv3nt@gmail.com

This might seam arb but people don't realise how important it is to join a guild especially one that operates in your timezone, as this will allow you to enjoy the game so much more. So Please feel free to give us a ring.

I was very disappointed to find out that this is the EU version, as most of us south africans play on the US servers, Excellent game though.

First off, I've played World of Warcraft solidly for a year, and then again on and off for another year. I managed to reach the level cap with my main character, so I have a pretty good understanding of the game, it's contents and storyline.

With that being said, onto my mini-review:

Without a doubt, the game's strongest point is it's addictiveness. So much so that even the casual gamer will find themselves making less time for school/work and more time for WoW, even up to the point of neglecting real life commitments. While the amount of time you spend on a game is entirely determined by each player, the game is structured in such a way that everything seems to take a little longer than the amount of time you actually have.

The graphics and sound are very good, although I have seen and heard better in other games. The playability is very good, and the learning curve relatively low, so anyone can play reasonable well within a few hours.

One of the biggest problems with the game is it's cost. I hear dozens of people saying that WoW has a level of support unmatched in any other game, and that all games would be better if the had the Blizzard support team. But think about it realistically: wouldn't you be a able to afford an excellent team if you were earing £8,000,000 per month? Because that's the amount of money that Blizzard makes, excluding the +/- £10 per game that each player initially spent.

For the average European citizen the monthly cost is fixed at £9.99, but for us South Africans with a fluctuating exchange rate, a game that started off at R100 per month will be costing nearly R200 in a very short time. Worth it for people who have the money, but for most that struggle to keep their heads above water, it's simply un-affordable. And let's not forget the bandwidth usage as well.

Overall I think it's a very good game, but I find that after a year or so it begins to lose it's appeal. Why? While it might get more challenging going from solo to group to 5-man raids to 40-man raids, I find that it really is just basically more of the same. The only difference is that the player and enemies are more powerful. Also, once you hit the level cap, there is limited potential for a casual solo gamer, as most quest after that point are high-end raids.

Bottom line: a very good game that is worth it, if you have the time and money. If not, you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

Alex, FAIRLAND. 16 January 2008

Excellent game BUT it has to download a patch before you can play it and the patch is 800MB.. Just so you know but totally worth it.

Michael, Edgemead. 8 April 2006

Great game. Anyone that enjoys RPG's will enjoy this. It has a monthly cost of about R100/month to play. You will need a Credit card or a gamecard to play.

With the official release in SA be for the US version, most people will be playing on the US server. (Just a note to the EU players)

Robert, South Africa. 30 June 2006

This game is cool... but I don't think it is worth R439 .. you can get it from other shops (online/not online) at half the price or less...

Deon, Amanzimtoti. 9 March 2006

Great addictive game! Be prepared to flunk school, or get fired from work!

Once u start, there is no turning back! Another quality game from Blizzard!

As for the UK version. Its far better playing on UK, than US. first of all the Timezone, If u play on US during day, every1 that side is sleeping, but on UK, we have a +1 or +2 hour diff, so theres more ppl on the server.

And latency on US server is also much higher than on UK!

This game is set to stay, and is by far the most popular mmorpg!

Jonathan, Randburg. 4 May 2006

The most addictive of all the MMPOGs. This game has the best story to come out of Blizzard since Warcraft I with a great online comunity and supurb Support. if only all game writes coud got thier story lines as detailed and clear as Blizzard!

Djordje, Randburg. 3 July 2006

If u had never played RPG this is a game that u can start with. Excelen tutorial and all supports.
Story is so good that you get hooked up immediately. I started playing more than a year ago and I still play it for more then 4 hours a day! It's that good. No ending, no stoping just playing and playing and ...............
The game has no end and now that the Burning Crusade is coming out the END is even further away!
So trust me on this! Buy the game and you won't regret it!
Dragonmaw server rules! Europe servers
Bye all
