Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.
We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.
Payment options
Word on the street is that cash is king!
Because we love giving you the most awesome online experience ... we now offer a COD (cash on delivery) payment option on certain orders.
That's right people, we're giving you even more choice than ever before! (as if that's even possible).
We think you'll be just as chuffed as we are about it.
So how exactly does COD (cash on delivery) work?
Simple really ... when placing your order(s) online, simply select COD as your preferred payment method and only pay for your goods when you receive them. Please have your cash ready when they get to your door!
If COD is not applicable to a particular product, we'll make it very clear on the product page.
At this point, COD is available for orders delivered within certain geographical areas and on select products based on value, if you don't see it as an option, then our nifty system has excluded you based on where you stay. If you aren't sure about where you fit in, just give us a shout and we'll help out - 0861 222 989 or info@takealot.com

Hi Kirk, I would like to get back to you on your question, regarding the downloading of the 14Gb of data from steam before you can play this game! I have the very same problem, with Modern Warfare 2, where I need to download 11Gb of data before I can play! I wish someone would address this issue with steam, where steam can maybe just make it an activation of the game on steam, thus preventing piracy, because that is the main concern, but not to give the guys whose buying their games, such a hard time to have to download, 14 Gb of data! This downloading changes from game to game it seems, because I have a long experience with steam. I own the entire warhammer dawn of war series, and with these games you have to download about 1-2Gb of data, but then I came across dawn of war 2, which needed to download 11 gb of data before play! I can't imagine anyone else not having this problem! Steam regulates everything, I can't see anyone who can install it, without downloading this much data, unless it is a pirated copy.......

How to solve the download issues with STEAM.
Without being influenced steam will try and download all files from the internet and not install from the disk itself.
Try the following (work some of the times): go to download and clouds and set your position to somewhere on the other side of the world (I used the Philippines). Then install the game, this forces steam to install everything from disk and
- once this is done and the game start to download the updates (approx 2gb) you stop the process and set the position back to johannesburg mweb (or wherever suits you best).
If the game give you problem starting up - verify files using steam(does not take very long) and you are set to go.
This worked for me with MW2, Black Ops, MW3, Napoleon.
PS: This game is very good and I specially enjoy survival mode (kind of zombies mode, but in place of zombies is waves of peoples with guns and/or helicopters, suicide bombers, juggernauts etc)

Same generic FPS game released every year to dupe consumers into buying it, wake up.
Alex, South Africa. 30 January 2012
They haven't changed much in the game which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's still very addictive. Installation was just a pain in the backside.
Jean, WOLMARANSTAD. 2 November 2011
MW3 is like my new best friend!
Jaco, Melkbosstrand. 18 November 2011
@ Ben, You don't have to download 11GB. That is only if you buy the game on steam. If you have the disc then you install it from the disc. It may look like it wants to download, but all you need to do is cancel the downloading and it should start installing from the disc instead.
Robert, South Africa. 23 February 2012
Extremely bad. Lots of lag, outdated graphics.
Rene, FORESHORE. 25 November 2011
dont have it yet but cant wait. to all those who are disappointed with the game...... GUYS just enjoy the game for what it is a SHOOTER. all of em are great games. the time and effort that has gone into making these games deserves some credit. IF u guys dont like the COD range then dont buy em. If u bought it and still didnt like it well then thats your fault. a person buys the games to enjoy em. I like shooter games so ill keep on buyin em simple..
Johann , Robertson. 21 January 2012
Worst game of 2011!
Kirk, . 9 November 2011
Hi,I believe this is a brilliant game, but does anyone need to download 14000mb of data from steam after you inserted disc one,I cant install the game before 14gb is downloaded,I only have limited cap per month and can't download this much data,I have talked to other guys that bought this and they did not have the same "problem" as me.Can someone maybe give me an answer?
Dane, Nahoon. 8 November 2011
Best Call of Duty so far... So much better than Black Ops and improves where Modern Warfare 2 left off. If you love the Modern Warfare series, you'll love this. My only criticism is that they didn't really do anything about the graphics, still the same as Modern Warfare 2, however, the game play makes up for it.
Laurence, South Africa. 27 August 2012
This game, like its hill billy brother/sister (Modern Warfare 2) is bad and should have remained on console. Both games are a monstrosity and ruined the epic experience that Call of Duty 4 brought to the FPS world. Graphics are outdated and multiplayer is pathetic. Black Ops was the last decent Cod game there was.
Pienaar, South Africa. 7 March 2012
Fails to live up to any and all expectations
Dean, SCOTTSVILLE. 19 October 2011
Modern Warfare 3 is going to be insane!! Might not be better than Battlefield 3, but its gonna live up to its title :)
