Supplier out of stock
Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

- Crysis is a PC sci-fi first-person shooter from the award-winning developer Crytek, the developers of the critically acclaimed Far Cry (MC90). Earth, 2019: A colossal asteroid crashes down to Earth. The North Korean Government quickly seals off the island chain, claiming the mysteries of the asteroid for themselves. The United States responds by dispatching an elite team of Delta Force Operators to recon the situation and report back to the Pentagon. Amid rising tensions between the US and North Koreans, the asteroid suddenly bursts open, revealing a massive, 2km high alien ship. The ship generates an immense force sphere, freezing a vast portion of the island and drastically altering the global weather system. The invasion of Earth has begun. The two rival nations unite to stop the aliens and save mankind. The newly formed alliance fights epic battles against the marauding Aliens. With hope rapidly fading, the player must lead a crack squad through lush tropical jungle, harsh frozen landscapes, and finally into the heart of the alien ship itself for the ultimate Zero G encounter with the aliens. Crysis offers players a highly immersive FPS experience in which they will have to adapt their tactics, weaponry, armour and gameplay style to survive and defeat the alien invasion. Crysis uses the leading-edge technology of Crytek's proprietary engine CryENGINE.

Awesome Graphics, Crysis Warhead even better. CPU Duo core 3GHZ, 4 Gig Ram, Radeon 3870 OC
Alex, Parklands. 15 January 2008
At the moment to run at very high with smooth frame rates at 1280x1024 and no AA you'll need a 8800GTX SLI setup, my Q6600 at 3.2GHZ, 4Gb Ram and heavily overclocked 8800GTS 640 only manages all settings High with an average of around 30FPS. To sum it up the graphics engine has pathetic scalibility despite looking awesome on max settings and the game itself is rather average and doesn't bring anything truly new to the market.
EDIT: Some light at the end of the performance tunnel at last. Picked up an XFX 780i mobo and 2 8800GTS 512MBs and Ultra High is just barely playable at 1280x1024 now, High still remains the best option getting just over 50FPS with SLI.

You must play this game with a high end PC, the ghraphics is out of this world.
Specs, DX38BT, Core 2 2.93Mhz extreme, 4GB mem, Nvidia 8800 Ultra, 22"WS monitor

This is truely the greatest game i have ever played. Its such a pity it had to end.
The graphics are absolutely amazing but what is very cool (well at least for me) is that it will still run ok on average pc's on low graphics. And even low graphics looks good. This game was worth all the hype.. in fact i feel it could have been underhyped.. thats how much i like it.
Some of the character/boss battles are the greatest i have ever played. I can't wait for Crysis 2 but in the meantime i will be playing through this game multiple times.
Jevon, South Africa. 8 January 2008
Definitely the best game I have ever played - Hands down!!!
The levels are totally jaw dropping, intelligent AI is brilliant too.
Pleased to say I got my Limited Edition....
And my system is not that great either:
AMDX2 4200+, Geforce 8600GTS 256MB, 1 Gig DDR667 RAM - No overclocking
Just get the game - you wont be sorry!!

The new game of all games to beat! Still struggles on my beast though so make sure your machine can cope otherwise you missing out :
Specs: E2160 overclocked to 3 ghz, 2 gig ddr 800 and gigabyte 8600 gts 256mb (overclocked).
Godfrey, Clovelly. 17 December 2007
No longer the special edition.
Apparently that was only the first batch.
Now you just get a plastic box containing one disk and a booklet.
If I'd Known, I'd have paid a bit extra for the special edition (metal box, extra disks, t-shirt etc) elsewhere - saw it in CNA for instance.
ps: Can't rate the game - haven't played it yet

I Have A 8800GTS 32OMB,INTEL DRAGONTAIL MOTHERBOARD,4GIGS DDR2 667MHZ RAM,22" WS SAMSUNG MONITOR AND A INTEL CORE 2 DUO E6750 (2.66GHZ) AND IT RUNS LIKE A CHARM ON HIGH NO "AA" OR "AF" ENABLED OR OVERCLOCKING NECESSARY! ONE OF THE MOST ANTICAPATED AND REMARKABLE GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED NO JOKES!!
Jean, EPPING INDUSTRIAL. 20 May 2009
After I lodged my jaw back inplace after it dropped the instance I saw the graphics. I then screamed my lungs out and gasped for air cause I could not believe that this universal game worked on my rig!
What ever you do, buy it, play it, live it.
If you don't own a copy of Crysis, then you are not a gamer. Period
Barend, QUEENSWOOD EXT 2. 6 August 2010
This is one game where you choose how you want to play, complete stealth or go in guns Blazing, the weapons customization is great, you can make a ak 47 into an anti vehicle weapon just add the grenade launcher mod when you find it. one that is cool when you use can use a guy as a shield, just pick and keep walking, amazing game cannot wait for number 2
