Of course you want to know — When do I get it?

We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:

If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).

If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.

If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).

Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.

And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.

If you have a Logitech GT Driving Force Pro steering wheel, you better get yourself a copy of this game.

Usually I SUCK at driving games using a wheel, but this game is so realistic (well almost), and the graphics so good, that its probably the best rally sim ever!

You can control how much feedback to have so you can make it harder on yourself. Remember to release the wheel after you turn, because the wheel rights itself, just like a real car does after you exit the corner.

Not only are the graphics fantastic, realistic and the lighting unbelievable, but the career mode's variety of tracks, road conditions and daylight changes, makes this an unreal experience.

The realistic sounds of the vehicles contribute dynamically to the gameplay, as if you can hear what's going on in the road, the car and the engine. The sound differs dramatically depending on which camera you're using.

There are so many camera angles: Bumper cam (no car visible), Bonnet cam, Dashboard Cam, Helmet Cam, Close Chase cam, Far chase cam (those outside cams make me overcompensate if you use a wheel). I use the outside cameras when I do the replay. Try using the fast-forward mode in that cam to see a super-speed survivor style "island tour" of your track. That's the most fun, and it helps you spot what you're doing wrong easily (swaying side to side, oversteer, understeer, etc).

As this version of (Colin Mcrae) DIRT includes new types of races, the playability has shot through the roof. Not in the mood for a long multi-stage rally? Just suit up for a 2-lap Crossover, where you and your opponent start on a split track that crosses over each other and loops back on itself - ala mobius strip. RallyCross lets you tackle dirt and road in a single short circuit in multiple laps against opponents. You can also do some MotoStorm-style CORR events. Then there's Rally Raid which are very long head-to-head circuits. Lastly, the new Hill Climb, which I find challenging, as there is no navigator helping you with the turns (on your own).

All in all, since the 90's when I was bitten by Screamer Rally, I've always wanted a great HD rally game. Between Motorstorm and DiRT, my cravings have been satisfied. Who wants a pretty car on a road anyway - screw titles like Need for Speed, Burnout, Project Gotham Racing, Forza Motorsport and even Gran Turismo - this is the business!
