Description

Caught between two rival factions in war-torn Africa, you are sent to take out "The Jackal", a mysterious character who has rekindled the conflict between the warlords, jeopardizing thousands of lives. In order to fulfil your mission you will have to play the factions against each other, identify and exploit their weaknesses, and neutralise their superior numbers and firepower with surprise, subversion, cunning and, of course, brute force.

this game sux.Half the time ur driving to get to destination then you do the mission in 10 minutes and you gotta drive sumwhere else.it does have good graphics and everything but its a waste of money rather invest in fallout 3 got them both and by far fallout 3 is much bette!

Unlike what the other guy had to say about the cars moving around like being on a rail-track, I enjoyed the scenery instead, even the graphics of the car's interior is stunning. The shaddows of the trees blowing in the wind, the sounds of the outdoors, and so much more is brilliantly done. Crysis was awesome, but this is way better ... Afrikaans (sounds like Arnold Vosloo's voice) sayings like, "Hoe smaak jy daai poepol," and "Kom sit 'n bietjie hand by, ek het hulp nodig," etc. is wonderful, and even an RSA native language makes the game even more realistic. The designers outdid themselves with the graphics & stuff ... really, this game is awesome. Definitely recommended ... A++

Game sucks. Just like the previous guy said.
Gameplay is so old. The cars move around like they are on a train track. Your character climbs ladders like a fag. He cant run sideways (even I can run sideways). The map is poorly made. The story is so unoriginal. AI suck, they dont know how to move or use their environment. How the flip does he bandage his arm and a second later the bandage is gone. Graphics are nice but not like crysis. Crysis whoops this crap in al respects.

The graphics in this game are really stunning, but certain aspects are unrealistic, such as healing aids, the way the main character's arm looks, the weapons, etc. The audio and realistic sounds of 'nature' sounds really good in Far Cry 2, but the gameplay is horrible. It's pointless, repetitive, unoriginal and, frankly, boring. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody who wouldn't want to spend 50 hours driving around the map, and 5 to 6 hours playing the game (i.e shooting the same Afrikaans people, and criminals, over and over again).

Farcry2 is an awesome game. Farcry is set on the outskirts of africa and you start by choosing your character Warren or Marty. I played this game at a friends house and I played as Marty were he got malaria. I got as far as the part where you go looking for missions but I couldnt find any. Farcry has awesome graphics from actually picking up something and opening a door not some automatic nonesense . The only unrealistic part of this game is you cant drown. The games graphics also has destructible enviroments, you can literally desroy anything to get what you need like diamonds. in the game diamonds is used as money to buy weapons. This game got game of the year, and why not it deserved it. 10/10 best game ever. must play.
