I don't have much to say except that this package is just amazing!
5 games, 2 are going to be amazingly popular online (Portal and Team Fortress 2) so if you want to at least get those, this package is worth the price.
Getting this via Steam would be stupid because the download would kill most of our South African caps in no time.
Getting Half-Life 2 and episode 1 & 2 is just a bonus if you ask me.
I would recommend this package to anyone who wanted to try out TF2 & Portal and of cause HL2, Ep1 & Ep2.
M & Y Photo CC
You also actually get HL2 Lost Coast and Peggle Extreme with it as well.
The steam updates were tedious but well worth it ;)
HL2 EP2 has got to be one of the best games I played in the Half-Life series, even beating the original. The game brings the Source Engine to life. It's been 3 years since the Source Engines release and still, no games can beats it facial expressions and physics to date...
Portal is very humerous and fun puzzle game. There is honestly nothing bad to say about this game, its brilliant!
TF2 is ultra fun and has you playing hours on end and the cartoony graphics really brings it out.
The new graphics are spectacular, motion blur really bringing in realism :)

Got the game on the day it was released.... Ran home like an excited monkey to install, and mistakely left it to "Self Install"..:( 700 megs later I discovered that I was trying to install all the games via steam and not via the DVD's.
I discovered on the web that it is an issue with the install and you need to start the install on steam, then disconnect, autorun the DVD again and click on re-install, this makes it install from the DVD, but only 98% (Stops people copying the DVD) the other 2% odd comes from steam.
After the install completes I will not play the game without installing the updates.... at this time I reach my cap so have had to wait till the 1st of the month to continue the update.
All I can say is that its worth ever tuft of hair that I pulled out in frustration over the steam thing... Team Fortress is the wickedist game I have played in a long time, and I feel that I am going to spend countless hours online with this one.
Please dont give this games as a gift to someone without internet access, unless of course you hate them!!

Probably the best game I have ever played!
