Marvo has no idea what he is talking about (Sorry Marvo). This is still one of the best games around. The controls are perfect.

I don't know about the other two... they seem extremes in both directions of boredom and excitement.
I think this game is different from the previous 3 versions of Resident Evil. And for good reason that Capcom wanted to create a new environment and new gameplay. I think they did extremely well in both departments!
Now I have only played this game on my PS2 but I'm sure for the Wii it will be just as great!
I WILL be getting the latest version when it comes out on the PS3!!

Like most of the newly realeased games for the Wii (excluding Wii Sports), the full power of the Wii remote and nunchuck isn't fully utilised. My main dissapointment of this game is the playability. The loss of the strafe function (common and required for any 3rd person shooting game) AND the inability to change the frame of reference when wanting to blow the heads off zombies, makes this game quite the bore to play.
I'd recommend purchasing Red Steel, much better use of the wiimote and nunchuck features and includes a multiplayer option...
PS: necorium, I don't know which resident evil you're playing and what standard you have when judging a game but resident evil 4 has lost what the previous 3 RE's have been. COMPARED to Red Steel or even Zelda... it's a bore
