Supplier out of stock
Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

If you are a fan of Command & Conquer, then you will definitely don't want to miss this one.

This game is brilliant..
the graphics engine is designed so well that you can run it on most pcs with full graphics.
the game play is also taken back to much like the RA and old cnc system, with building process and unit control on the side panel.
All in all I was unhappy with all the cnc games past RA2 yuri's revenge and i was expecting this to let me down aswell. bt it really surpised me with its playability and all round dynamics.
welldone EA, for once

I haven't purchased a copy yet but so far I've only heard amazing things about this release. The thing that has struck me the most about the game so far - and I have yet to see it actually being played - is that friends of mine who absolutely despised C+C Generals, are CRAZY about this game. I so far have not encountered a single person who didn't love it!
I'm gona be buying a new pc soon, I'll wait for that to arrive before I play this. I want to play it on full graphics and everything or otherwise I don't want to play it at all :)

My gran always told me that first impressions last, and wow! was she on the spot with this game. from the opening screen I knew I'm going to enjoy playing this game.
The story line is especially good, not even mentioning the beauty of the high definition video used to portray it!
Options are a plenty and playing the game on full graphics is brilliant. Definitely worthwhile upgrading your graphics card if you can't play it at full quality.
I'm seeing myself playing this game for hours non-stop!!!
So if your a fan of C&C and Strategy games, this is a best buy for 2007!
Desere, ROWHILL. 15 June 2007
I enjoyed the game so much, the playability and graphics, excellent. Be carefull for some levels, you need to change your strategy!!

Attack of the sequels is what gaming is about these days, isnt it. Yet sometimes, there comes a sequel that offers very little in the way of innovation (ie. new toys and things to do). Well, this is C&C 3 Tiberian Wars, not to say this is a bad thing. Since its first inception over 10 years ago, nothing much has changed. Units have been updated, added, updated, added and updated again. For fans such as myself, I am not complaining, this is what we all want, a game that benchmarks our graphics cards, offers the same playability, action and strategy as the original, yet adds the spice to set the heat and send the saliva flowing.
You are not looking at a SupCom, you are not looking at a Red Alert, you are not looking at a Generals. You are looking at Command and Conquer, the raw content and power of a war machine designed for fast paced action and base building. The game sets the pace from the get go, with transmissions to aid and educate the player into the epic that has carved our imaginations and cumfy chairs. Troops are now deployed in squads, infantry (5), Rocket soldiers (2), Snipers (2), all from the click of a button on the dashboard which has been redesigned and tweaked from the original. Tanks and airships are true to the C&C series, and with the sad loss of the MKII WALKER, and do not tremble. The battle mechanics have been upgraded as well as the vehicles.
Earth has been demarkated into 3 zones. The Green Zone, which holds most of the worlds population and tiberian is scarce, but the size in its entirety could fill the Western Province. The Orange Zone, tiberian infection is higher and effects on mother nature are visible, most of Kanes followers are found here and NOD thrive under these conditions. The Red Zone, tiberian is alive here to the point that it has recreated its own world. Mutation is a way of life with deadly mutants lurking in every corner. Your worst nightmares come true.
This installment sees the inception of a 3rd faction, Scrin, the creator and spewer of the infamous and famous Tiberian which infests the world of C&C3. The factions are GDI, Global Defense initiative. Based in DC, Defenders of the free world whos mission it is to rid the world of tiberian and the Brotherhood of NOD, Kane. The Brotherhood of NOD praise Kane and his vision to nurture tiberian, saying it is the future of mankind. Then theres the Scrin, the xenomorphic species which started it all over 10 years ago. These beings sent tiberian to earth to change the ecosystem for their own bidding. There feature in this game is short lived, and are available in the Skirmish and Multiplater levels from installation.
The Single player missions are demanding, you have very little space to breathe from the constant threat of the opposing forces. The maps are smaller than the previous series, allowing for less base more army style of play. The faster you progress through the tech trees the better. Once at the top, virtually nothing can stand in your way. The GDI are equipped with the legendary Mammoth tanks, anti-everything, putting it simply. A behemoth of armour and firepower. to be continued.... lunch time over....
