It's a good mouse, the only thing I would note though is that it doesn't work on any slightly reflective surface (like my veneered work desk) and on a slightly convex/concave surface - like the arm rest of a comfy couch ;-) So get a nice mousepad as well.

great product ,very comfortable shape.get more than what you pay for.

If you're looking for a budget gaming mouse, this one is perfect.
i use it mainly for Dota2. Its advertised as 7 programmable buttons but its more like 4.
2 on the side and the scroller clicks left and right as well.
You have to download the software from the web to map them (not included in the packaging)

Great quality and comfortable gaming mouse at a good price.

Excellent mouse! Contends with R600+ mice, even comes in a convenient plastic case :)

If you are looking for a budget gaming mouse, look no further. Not many, if any at all, could compare with the surprisingly awesome choice of a mouse. 5 stars all the way! :)

Honestly with the number of positive reviews of this product you have no reason to believe mine, the one outlier, but I'm hoping that this one review will at least make you think twice. Please please please...
...do NOT buy this mouse! It is not great value for money, you are seriously overpaying. If you can ignore all the flaws this mouse has (maybe all you want is the very simplest of "gaming" mouses) then maybe it will last you a few months, otherwise you have quite a good chance that it will stop working properly in about a month or two. The first to go will be the ability to click the number of times YOU want, instead the mouse will decide... that is of course if you previously bought earplugs to prevent yourself from going deaf from the sheer volume of each click.
But I don't want to start ranting. It probably seems like mine was faulty and that's why I didn't like it. Sorry, no! I stopped using the mouse long before it started misbehaving, I could no longer stand how terrible it was in every aspect... so I gave it to my brother and went back to my old mouse. I was not being horrible to him though, all he needed was a new mouse to point and click. How was I to know that it couldn't even do that after a while?
But anyway, I just had to write this review because I know there are people out there just like me looking for a cheap mouse to keep them going for a while. This is not that mouse. It's feels cheaper than the price you pay for it, the clicks are incredibly loud and plastic (if you do buy it you will know what I mean) and in my opinion it is extremely uncomfortable.
If you just need a mouse to keep you going I would recommend a much cheaper normal mouse or, if you can, spend a little bit more and get a better gaming mouse.

Brilliant mouse at a great Price!
Jade, South Africa. 22 August 2014
Good value for money. Mouse can't be used on reflective surfaces. Microsoft service pack 1 is a minimum requirement. Nice and smooth, good dpi, is quite a big mouse.
Ryan, South Africa. 2 September 2014
Fantastic mouse at a fantastic price. Very comfortable.
It is quite large so if you like a small mouse this is not for you.
Sammy, South Africa. 20 September 2014
A very good gaming mouse and excellent value for money. Comfortable mouse, very smooth and no latency during gaming. Recommended!

Awesome budget gaming mouse
Hilton, South Africa. 17 November 2014
This is a great mouse for the price paid. I have big hands and needed something bigger to use with my work laptop for day to day use. Would have been perfect if it was heavier but I'm still happy the purchase.
Lourens, South Africa. 31 July 2014
Great mouse, great price, buy it.
Evert, South Africa. 20 February 2015
I'm sorry to read that Chris was disappointed with his mouse. I've had mine for a few months now, and I'm very happy with it. For the price, I actually expected less. The fact that it's light, doesn't make it a low quality mouse, in my opinion it betters it (less resistance to move). But if you are used to a "heavier" mouse it might take some time getting used to. Also, it is larger than normal, but then again, its a gaming mouse, allowing more space for your palm to rest in long gaming sessions. Responsiveness is good and all the buttons work, except maybe the roller when "rolling" to fast in certain games. This however might be troublesome to some pro gamers, but then again, a pro shouldn't be playing with a cheapy.
zubair, South Africa. 29 July 2015
so far the mouse feels great and comfortable

Excellent mouse for the money, good for First-Person Shooters and just general use, works well for Photoshop and any graphic design program, Gigabyte products have always been excellent, definitely reccommened, comes in a convenient plastic box to protect the mouse if you go to LAN events, travelling etc.
Diaan, South Africa. 31 March 2015
Not a top end gaming mouse but a decent starter. Perfect for what i needed.
Wolfgang, South Africa. 29 October 2015
Best Budget gaming mouse. Has everything I will need. Just be sure to download the accompanying software- it makes the mouse more capable than some R1000 mice. Its called Gigabyte Force and you can download for free at Gigabyte website.

The sensor in these Gigabyte Mouses are absolutely terrible. This mouse does not pickup on many surfaces. It hardly picks up on razer mouse pads (control and speed types). The only surface I have it working fine on is a flat vanished wooden desk. This is a problem when I go anywhere else. I got a free M6880X mouse with my Gigabyte laptop and it is extremely delayed. A R50 mouse well surpasses it in performance. I recommend any other brand. Corsair, CoolerMaster perhaps.
