HALTI has become the world's favourite canine headcollar because it has been designed to combine maximum steering efficiency with unequalled comfort for the dog. There are no metal parts in contact with the dog's skin and the point of steering is well down the nose and away from the eyes. The HALTI makes training and behaviour modification of dogs practical and safe.
It can be used in a number of ways: either as a passive means to simply stop dogs pulling, or as an active training aid. Handlers can gently direct the dog's head, steering him into desired positions which can then be rewarded and linked to a command associated with that posture, for example 'sit'!
- Stops Pulling and calms boisterous dogs
- New Padded Noseband. A new feature of the HALTI is a soft padded noseband, designed for extra comfort and an enhanced fit.
- Unique On-Off muzzle-closing effect: when your dog struggles to lunge forward, his jaws are closed by the rising ring under his chin. When he is relaxed or friendly, he can reopen his mouth allowing him to pant easy, loll his tongue and be just like when he is free.
- Freedom to Pant. The HALTI has the freedom to allow your dog to pant and yawn.
- FREE HALTI Safety Link. The HALTI Safety Link attached your HALTI to the dog's conventional collar to provide additional security.

Seems to be working very well. Be aware that sizing is not precise. I bought a size 3 - for a Doberman size dog - only to have it be too large.

It works. Now I can take my dog for a walk instead of her walking me. But beware the sizing. I took a size 2 medium for my female German Shepherd. It says on the package to take a size smaller for bitches and pups. If it had to be bigger, then i'd have the problem that Jeremy has, causing her to pull her nose out, which defeats the purpose. I think th the medium is more for a German Shepherd, Labrador sized male and female as you don't want it loose. Same day delivery, Thanks Takealot.

I have been battling like mad to walk my Bloodhound x Basset - just far too strong on a harness set up which ultimately led to me just not walking him. The Halti makes it so much easier - he's still not happy and tries to "fight" it, but now the pulling doesn't rip me off my feet / strain arm muscles I don't have!! By the end of an hour walk he was definitely getting more used to it and seemed uncomfortable when pulling, but he's getting wiser re the pull = discomfort tactic. I'd recommend highly for anybody with an unruly dog that walks them instead of vice versa.

My dogs hated them and managed to get out of them 5 times before we got into the car.

Excellent product, great for my pitbull who loves to pull. Now I can take him for walks!
