The first of six titles of the world's most famous secret agent now available on BD. One of the more controversial movies of its time (1973), sees Roger Moore in his debut role as James Bond who battles voodoo in this high octane adventure that hurls him from New York to the Carribean. With his charm, wit and deadly assurance, 007 takes on a powerful drug lord, Mr. Big, with a diabolical scheme to conquer the world. This movie was almost banned in South Africa at the time, due to on-screen smooching across the racial lines. Nonetheless, this Blue-ray treatment is fantastic for a 35 year old print, and the DTS HD Master Audio track definitely packs in a punch. The new Smart Menu technology which floats on-screen so you never leave the movie is a nice addition, fitting to something out of Q-Branch!
