Of course you want to know — When do I get it?


We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:

If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).

If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.

If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).

If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.

We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.

And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.

So how exactly does COD (cash on delivery) work?

Simple really ... when placing your order(s) online, simply select COD as your preferred payment method and only pay for your goods when you receive them. Please have your cash ready when they get to your door!

If COD is not applicable to a particular product, we'll make it very clear on the product page.

At this point, COD is available for orders delivered within certain geographical areas and on select products based on value, if you don't see it as an option, then our nifty system has excluded you based on where you stay. Platteland, Suid-Afrika se nuutste en grootste musiekrolprent tot op datum, was landwyd in teaters op 25 November 2011 vrygestel. Met R 1.7 miljoen tydens die openings naweek, beloof die dvd om een van die GROOSTE verkopers vir 2012 te wees. Die rolprent vertel die verhaal van Riana van Niekerk (Lianie May) wat alles in vermoë sal doen om haar familieplaas te behou. Mike Ferreira (Steve Hofmeyr) het egter ander planne en sal enigiets doen om sy hande op Riana se grond te kry. Dirk Pretorius (Bok van Blerk) is ‘n swerwer met sy eie geheime. Groot treffers soos Melanie (Jay), Pleister vir my hart (Lianie May), Pa en Seun (Steve Hofmeyr en Bok van Blerk) en Sweet Dreams (Karlien van Jaarsveld) word in Platteland se storielyn ingeweef om te verseker dat dit die gewildste Afrikaanse musiekrolprent ooit sal word. Bok van Blerk, wat die rol van die geheimsinnige Dirk Pretorius speel, het bekendheid verwerf met die reuse treffer De la Rey. Hy het homself daarna bewys as een van die grootste name in Afrikaanse musiek met treffers soos Tyd Om Te Trek, My Kreet en Die Kaplyn. Bok het in 2009 die Sama-toekenning gewen as die topverkoper in Suid-Afrikaanse musiek met sy album Afrikanerhart. Steve Hofmeyr het sy loopbaan as akteur in die gewilde TV-reeks Agter Elke Man begin en het met verkope van meer as twee miljoen eenhede homself deur die jare as sanger en liedjieskrywer bewys met treffers soos Pampoen, Agter Elke Man en FM Stereo. Steve was in 2004 die wenner van die Sama-toekenning as topverkoper vir sy album Toeka. Lianie May het die musiektoneel oorrompel met haar debuutalbum Vergeet My Nie wat in 2008 die Sama-toekenning as topverkoper in die land gewen het. Met trefferliedjies soos Jy Soen My Nie Meer Nie en Vergeet My Nie het sy haarself vinnig gevestig as een van die groot name in Afrikaanse musiek. Jay, wat die rol van Mike se seun Jakes Ferreira speel, is nie net bekend as lid van Eden en as solokunstenaar nie, hy en Lianie het ook twee reuse treffers as duetpaar gehad: Toe Stop My Hart en In a Moment Like This. Ander bekendes in Platteland is Vaughan Gardiner (bekend vir sy trefferliedjie Gooi Jou Arms Om My) as Wian, Riana se broer, Rolene Ferreira word gespeel deur Karlien van Jaarsveld wie se debuutalbum As die Gordyn Val verlede jaar vrygestel is en die rol van Mike se vrou, Louise, word deur Hanna Grobler vertolk. Die vervaardiger van Platteland is Philo Pieterse wat aan stuur van trefferflieks soos Orkney Snork Nie, Boetie Gaan Border Toe, Lipstiek Dipstiek en Kringe in ‘n Bos was. Die draaiboek is deur Sean Else (bekroonde video-regisseur en ook regisseur van die sukesvolle musiekblyspel Ons Vir Jou) en die dramaturg Deon Opperman, ‘n dubbel Hertzogprys-wenner, geskryf. Hierdie is nie die eerste keer wat Sean en Deon saam werk nie: Hulle was ook verantwoordelik vir Ons Vir Jou wat voor uitgepakte gehore in die Staatsteater in Pretoria opgevoer is. Sean behartig die regie van Platteland en is die mede-vervaardiger van die rolprent. Ander groot name in die rolverdeling is André Odendaal (Getroud Met Rugby), David Clatworthy (7de Laan), Wynand van Vollenstee (Karate Kallie), Ivan Zimmermann (Egoli, Dit Wat Stom Is), Paul Luckhoff (Egoli, Hopeville), Izak Davel (Egoli, Getroud met Rugby – Die Onvertelde Storie), Cobus Visser (Egoli, Villa Rosa), Marcel Schoeman (Torings), Annette Engelbrecht (Orkney Snork Nie), Viljé Maritz (Binnelanders) en Dirk Stoltz (Song vir Katryn, Binnelanders).
