Supplier out of stock
Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.
We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.
Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

I you like Creed, you will like this CD too.

Creed has recently split up, so remaining members Scott Phillips, Mark Tremonti and Brian Marshall has regrouped as the band now known as Alter Bridge. As the new lead singer Myles Kennedy has proven with this CD, he has what it takes to lead the group to success once again. He has one amazing vocal range. I must admit I'm not an avid hard rock fan, but this CD is really pumping with some really good headbanging tunes. The best tunes are "Shed my skin" and "Find the real".All the songs are explosive, except maybe for the 1st single "Open your eyes" which lacked the magic the other tunes have. There is definitely some tracks on here that will be released as future singles. The guitar work on the album is stunning and compliments Myles' vocals.
First we had Velvet Revolver and now this band all in 2004. I'm almost hoping that more bands split up so we can have some new and fresh rock CD's amongst today's manufactured pop. I think this is the album Metallica should have made instead of the disastrous St. Anger. All Creed fans should have this CD in their collection, no question about this.
Verdict 8/10.

Yes, it's "Creed" to an extent, but for those of you (who like myself) got bored with the band Creed after a few tracks had been heard a coupla times, you'll be pleased to know that while there is a distinctive Creed soundto Alter Bridge as is to be expected, there's a whole lot more in there that wasn't in it for Creed. Vocal's are awesome, with a range that's quite impressive, and the music itself gels well. Besides the obvious Creed "influence", SoundGarden, Pearl Jam and even Collective Soul came to mind while listening to this disk.
A nice mix for the days that Korn / SlipKnot etc are just too heavy and you'd rather be caught with your pants down in traffic before playing your secretly owned Britney Spears CD in your car, this is easy listening and sure to appeal to a varied audience.

I disagree to an extent with other reviews. Whilst this cd has a Creed-ish sound to it, it only extends as far as tones and production goes. The band unleashed their musical abilities and talents in a way never before heard on a Creed album. I never liked Creed, and felt it was too much about their gospel message (which is a good thing, don't ge me wrong) but it was also about Scott Stap looking cool, than the music. Myles Kennedy has an unbelievable voice and a range that'll leave most singers green with envy. The guitarist plays brilliant solos and the drummer is truly amazing. I've always rated him (being a drummer myself) as solid and steady, but on this album he shows what a true showman he can be behind the kit. This album is all about musicianship. It sounds like the band started jamming and in the process wrote truly great songs - some of the ballads are exceptional. With that being said, the band is also much heavier than Creed, and stays true to their rock roots throughout. This album is a brilliant "debut" and I'm looking forward to hear more of them! Btw, if you like this cd, check out "Mayfield Four". It's Myles Kennedy's previous band before joining this one... you'll immediately hear the influence he brought along with him.
