Dispatched in 5 to 7 working days
Of course you want to know — When do I get it?
We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.
We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.
Imports are a best effort service, we strive to get it to you as soon as possible within the guidelines above but it's not always within our complete control so if something goes wrong we will let you know.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.
If this is all too confusing, call us on 0861 222 989 or send an e-mail to info@takealot.com. One of our friendly employees will get back to you pronto.

Product Reviews (1)
Christo, Hartbeespoort. 17 July 2005
America’s first-ever Idol, Kelly Clarkson, is back with her second album entitled Breakaway. Ask anyone in the industry and they will testify how important a second album is, and lucky for us, Breakaway is a second-album Kelly most certainly can be proud of. Featuring twelve tracks (of which one is a live recording), Breakaway features some the songwriting- and production-world’s biggest names, including punk-rocker Avril Lavigne (who co-wrote the title-track), David Hodges and Ben Moody (both from Evanescence-fame), Kara DioGuardi (best known for Enrique Iglesias’s Escape and Kylie’s Spinning Around), John Shanks (best known for his work with Melissa Etheridge, Michelle Branch and Sheryl Crow), Chantel Kreviazuk (who contributed heavily on Avril Lavigne’s Under My Skin-album), Raine Maida (Chantel’s husband and producer of Linkin Park) and Clif Magness (who’s worked with just about everyone – most recently also Clay Aiken). Yes, it’s a slight departure to the sound Kelly has become known for since winning American Idol, but the fact remains that it is a brilliant album that completely blew me away.
The album starts with Breakaway (a brilliant mid-tempo pop-rock song that is doing extremely well world-wide), and effortlessly flows into songs like Since U Been Gone (the second single and again, absolutely brilliant – my favourite song on the album), Behind These Hazel Eyes (the third single), the stunning Because Of You, Gone (another brilliant song), the emotional Addicted and the moving Where Is Your Heart before finishing off with a stunning live recording of Beautiful Disaster. When taking into account who wrote and produced most of the tracks on the album, the sudden rock ‘n roll sound is not such a mystery anymore. However, Kelly (and her collaborators) has to be commended because Kelly manages to not sound like Avril, Evanescence, Lindsay Lohan, Hillary Duff, Ashlee Simpson or so many of the other similar artists out there. It is a sound that works brilliantly with Kelly soulful, mature voice, and if this album doesn’t shake her Idols-heritage, then nothing will. Breakaway is a brilliant album that I can recommend to anyone with enthusiasm and a clear conscience.
