Cabin Fever was produced by two of South Africa's top-notch production talents Brian O'Shea, who also produced the 2001 Big Brother theme, Semisane's Life, as well as Crighton Goodwill who has worked with such luminaries as Mandoza and Vusi Mahlasela. The track was co-written by top South African radio personality, Ian F of 5FM. The single features the original mix as well as two remixes - the Break Mix is a more energetic, uplifting break-beat style version of the song while the Afrolounge Mix offers listeners a more chilled take on Cabin Fever.
