Without the need for a phone, Gear IconX has you covered. Whether you're walking or running, it's smart enough to track your activity and give updates on essential data from speed, distance and duration to heart rate and calories burnt via a dedicated voice guide.
TRACK YOUR STATS
Run with the Gear IconX in-ear voice guide to reach your vigorous-intensity zone. Recorded by real human beings in 15 different languages, motivation just got personal. By syncing with your smartphone after workouts, you can check your stats and monitor progress on the S Health app.
Turn on ambient sound mode to hear your surroundings. That way you can hit your stride with your favorite tracks while being present in the world.
BRING YOUR SONGS
Not only is Gear IconX a highly functional fitness tracker, it's possibly the smallest music player out there, meaning these earbuds are all you need to go running. With 4GB of internal memory that holds up to 1,000 tracks, you'll run out of breath before you run out of songs to power your workout. Another way to keep the beat going is via Bluetooth streaming, so you're never left stranded without those training motivation songs.
It's a powerful life with Gear IconX. With a case that doubles as a charger, you can power your Gear IconX while it's resting, letting you launch into those extensive workout sessions with a good soundtrack without missing a beat.
CONTROL WITH A TOUCH
Tap and hold to hear voice prompts guide you through Gear IconX's functions from playing music and taking or rejecting calls to turning on the ambient sound mode. When you hear the function you need, lift your finger to activate it.

Based on my experience, You should only buy these wireless earphones for the convenience factor of the heart-rate monitor, and/or and the small size, and/or the MP3 feature.
In my opinion they are not worth it for the bluetooth music streaming factor. I haven't tested with only bluetooth enabled for calls.
Other than than being physically wireless (and possibly the cool factor), it's dubious whether they are worth the price.
They require quite a bit of micromanagement to avoid annoyance and to maintain the convenience factor.
The Wireless factor:
If you use bluetooth streaming of music, the battery lifetime is much less than an hour (in my experience) That only leaves the possibility of a less than 7km jog, a very short bikeride or a normal workout.
The other annoyance of the bluetooth is that if it is enabled on your phone etc. then when you open the charging clamshell, then the earphones will automatically pair, and drain the earphones' batteries will drain, even if not used.
You'd think that leaving the earphones inside the charging clamshell will help to avoid this problem of the battery discharging, but no. If you leave the earphones in the clamshell then the earphones' batteries will discharge for some reason. This happens even if the clamshell itself is charged and connected to the charger AND the earphones are charged (all green lights)
The only solution is to wait until the earphones are charged, then first immediately disable bluetooth on your phone etc and then immediately remove them (or open the clamshell). Then the battery will not discharge, unless used.
So when you want to use them with bluetooth, you first have to enable bluetooth on the phone etc. and then place the earphones back in the clamshell, close the clamshell (assuming the clamshell is charged or connected) and then open the clamshell again. The earphones will then automatically pair.
The charging takes longer than the 20 minutes which they claim,. No charger is included in the package and they only say that you must use a Samsung charger, but they don't provide a list of compatible chargers anywhere. So I'd be careful to use any of the chargers. Some might be too strong, if they don't inform us, how are we to know?
Battery lifetimes (based on my tests):
-Using bluetooth streaming AND ambient noise enabled (no workout)- less than 30 minutes from fully charged
-Using bluetooth streaming AND ambient noise DISabled (no Workout) - less than an hour from fully charged (after 27 Minutes, I got the 10 minutes battery life remaining warning.
-Using No bluetooth, AND MP3 music AND workout seems to be better than they claim, but I haven't reached the limit yet.
-Using only workout AND no MP3 music. Will probably be longer than workout and MP3 combined
Other pros and cons:
-The clamshell is also a charger and is supposed to be able to fully charge the earphones about 3 times
-The quality of the sound is quite good for such a small device
-The earphones are quite comfortable, and I haven't had any physical discomfort up to an hour's use
-The synching of your workout can only be done via bluetooth on your phone, along with all the annoyances mentioned above
-The PC client is ONLY for managing the MP3s and NOT to synch your workout.
-Bluetooth calls are quite clearly heard and the microphone works quite well, according the the second person on the call
-The touchpad on the earphone is very convenient, but could a be a bit iffy to use. Your have to tap twice just-so so skip a song and often it just pauses (i.e. detects only one tap)
