Tested the flask with a frying thermometer. The bottle says 15 hours. In 18 degrees ambient, the temperature dropped from 95 to 82 in about 7 and a half hours. It also dropped from 95 to 65 degrees in 13 and a half hours. So performs as promised, if your food is piping hot when you put it in the container, it will remain in the food safety zone for 15 hours as promised. Also happy with the heavy duty construction and fold out handle is cool.

Excellent quality, this one has a nice wider mouth for easy access to food or soup but works as normal water flask
