To replace our previous Sunbeam kettle that has now started to leak after more than 5 years' use, we bought this Sunbeam product at more than double the cost of our previous cheap kettle that really did good service.
I was however disappointed with the kettle. It boils good, the body feels sturdy and it has not given us any trouble... yet. The on/off switch and the lid is very flimsy and I am expecting either to break within a couple of months' use.

Nice looking item, but lid doesn't fit well and steam escapes from the top. Boils too long before switching off.

worked great, until the off/on switch broke after less than 3 months. the spout also leaked.

leaks. the filter inside lasts a couple of months only.

Very poor quality kettle. The first one started to melt the plastic around the base, returned for a new one. As of today (16-Nov-2016) the exchange unit is melting around the handle and there are wires protruding.
