Love this product. Works as described. Really made a difference to my home network as wi-fi was weak in my bedroom where had media device. Just used this product and is working extremely well.

Great product. Finally this technology delivers on its promise. Set up a reliable wired network between two floors of my house in no time at all! And TAKEALOT has the best price in town by far!
Mark, South Africa. 5 May 2014
Plug in and it works. Seems fussy about being on the same trip switch circuit though as had issues getting it to work across two different aged part of the house. Also, WHY oh WHY do we have to put up with these horrid 2 pin plugs? (only criticism. Intermittent contact with the adaptor.)

Setup couldn't be any easier. Love this product!
The only thing that's a bit silly is that it is advertised to work at up to 500Mbps, but it only has a 10/100Mbps Ethernet connection.
Bradley, South Africa. 2 February 2016
Works well and easy to setup.
Michael, South Africa. 26 August 2014
Easy installation and good performance. Setup 3 units in minutes. The 500Mbps rating (AV500) is a theoretical limit for the network as a whole, while the adapters are 10/100, so don't expect 500Mbps from point to point (some people misunderstand and are disappointed).

Very easy to use, plug it in and connect. Got transfers speeds of 13 MB/s, but can drop to 6 MB/s, might be because of noise on the power line but it still beats WiFi connections. I can not wait for this technology to mature.

This is simply the best solution to not having to run cables everywhere. I have 3 of these devices up and running. Problem free and great transfer speeds. Use them to extend your wi-fi range across the house by connecting a wireless hub to the TP-Link, or simply just to provide another ethernet point. Great for external rooms, upstairs areas where wi-fi won't reach or garages where you share a common power point. I would highly recommend this choice before anything else. Great product.

Very easy to use, small, lightweight and unobtrusive. This is plug and play at its best. I ordered three (one for the router, one for the PC upstairs and one for the TV). Took them out of the box, plugged them into the nearest plug and voila: instant network. Streaming HD 1080p movies through Plex on the TV from the PC, no issues. Even with them plugged into a multi-plug with other appliances, they don't suffer. That having been said, DO NOT plug them into a plug with a surge protector. That definitely interferes with the data.

Great product. Set up in 10 seconds, just plug and play. Works well even in house with old wiring. Much better than hassle of running cables throughout the roof
Tim Sterne, South Africa. 9 June 2016
Great addition to my network family. This is an adapter. You need the starter kit.
Dennis, South Africa. 4 August 2014
Very good purchase. Does what it is said to do. No ungainly cables to lay. Plug and play. What a pleasure.
raymond, South Africa. 18 December 2014
Very good product if you don't want lines running everywhere in your house and WiFi isn't enough.
It performs as advertised without a problem.
Andrew, South Africa. 7 July 2014
These work, but are not without issues. I installed three units and was getting reported link speeds of between 170Mbps and 230Mbps between the first two, which I was quite happy with, but the third unit would, for love or money, not connect faster than 11Mbps. I went through all the trouble shooting steps, and eliminated all possible issues. Even if the two units were literally pluged into the same double wall socket, they would still only link up at 11Mbps. Reseaerch on the web seems to indicate I am not alone with this issue.
So all in all, they ARE easy to set up and ARE working, but the link speed is definitely not as advertised.

Works as a pair of products. Easy to install. Works excelently! Brilliant product.

it's good, works well once configured
John, South Africa. 4 August 2016
Very useful product. You need at least two adapters. Plug one in to an electrical socket close to the router and attach it to the router using the LAN cable supplied. Then plug another adapter into an electrical plug close to the PC that is situated far from the router. Link the second adapter to the (remote) PC via the supplied LAN cable. Works well, just as if the remote PC was attached directly to the router.

Excellent product/. Just plug in, and have a wired network. Using it to hide a Raspberry Pi running OSMC behind a TV. Single cable to TV - power. Excellent!
