We strive at all times to get it to you sooner but here are some indications:
If we say In Stock, we dispatch same day (if ordered before 14:00 on a working day) and depending on where you stay it will be with you the next working day (Main Centres) or the next working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional).
If we say In Stock (You can also collect in cpt), the stock is available from our Cape Town warehouse and you can collect on the same working day if your payment has been authorised and you collect before 5pm.
If we say dispatched between X and Y days then it takes X to Y days to receive from a supplier and it will then be with you within a working day after dispatched (Main Centres) or the working day after that (Regional Areas). If you are in a remote area it may take an additional working day (a day longer than Regional Areas).
If we say Pre-order it means that your item will be dispatched to you on the day it's released.
We always try our very best to get it to you as soon as possible but cannot guarantee same day delivery.
And then there's a Friday, sigh... Try order early on a Friday, we can then try our best to get it to you on the same day (Main centres), otherwise we will have to get it to you during the next week.

I received mine in good order. After reading a few reviews on the net I started with the setup. It was as easy a setting up the included server program, sharing my files on the network and off we went.
Streamed a 1080p 2012 (Movie) over wi-fi without a problem.
This is a fantastic player and I will recommend it to anyone.

Patriot Box Office Media
This is an awesome media player. It was able to play most of my videos. Easy to navigate and clean. The box includes everything you need including the HDMI cable. Plug and play. I would highly recommend this product. The best part is the 2 USB ports, which means that you can not only use multiple storage devices, but you can also copy from one device to another via the media player.
I previously had the Western Digital TV Live media player and it is way better than the Patriot Box Office. Spend the extra money and rather get that.
Western Digital TV Live is much more user friendly and more compatible with audio and video outputs than this device.
The Western Digital has less features than this but delivers its less features better.
The Patriot Box office only has a single column long listing which means finding files takes a long time to scroll. It also sorts by alphabetical order but groups it by upper and lower case. So basically it displays A-Z first, then only displays a-z. This means that if you cant remember if your file started with a upper or lower case, it will take a while to find.
I give the standard firmware on this device 2/5. Upgrade to the 04/04/2011 beta firmware and I give it a 3/5.
Its a decent device but it is just not easy to navigate when you are going through 100's of files that arent named to one standard way.
I do have this player for about a year now and it is the best player at the current price tag. Read any type of media and even DVD and BR ISO images as if it was the real thing.
I just updated the firmware, and now it even reads some downloaded files that I battle to read on my Win 7 PC. We use this player allmost everyday and never once did it led me down.
Super product and at this price it's a steal.
