Discontented with being a mere public nuisance, pro-skateboarder and 'Jackass' star Bam Margera unleashes his unique brand of pranks and practical jokes on his own unfortunate parents, Phil and April, in the MTV reality series 'Viva La Bam'. With the help of cohorts Ryan Dunn, Chris Raab, Brandon Dicamillo, and Rake Yohn, Bam torments Phil, April, and his idiosyncratic uncle Don Vito by redecorating their house, playing demolition derby with their cars, re-enacting a Civil War battle in their backyard, and more. Featuring guest appearances by Slayer, Tony Hawk, Johnny Knoxville, and Sean Penn, this collection includes all 16 episodes of the series' second and third seasons.

I had this sitting in my wish list for quite some time until one day it went on special for half price - about R230 - so naturally I snapped it up.
I've always been a huge fan of this series and the dvds don't disappoint in bringing you the full glory of each episode exactly as it was shown on mtv. My friends and I had several awesome nights as we re-watched the episodes included in this set.
This full box set comes with three dvds: 1 for season 2, and one for season 3. The third disc includes some extras. My main complaint about this set is that the extras are seriously lacking. All that has been included are the sorts of extras that you would expect to find on any other dvd of any other movie:
-Behind the Scenes of the making of one of the music videos by the band 'H.I.M'.
Aside from that, they've given us:
- Music Videos (I think there's one, maybe two)
- Photo Gallery (as with most dvds, a waste of time).
With all the action and fun that goes on in each Viva La Bam episode, MTV must have a LOAD of extra footage that could have been included in this box set, so it's very disappointing that the extras that we DO get here, are very run-of-the-mill boring stuff. It's as though MTV put no thought into the compilation of this set.
Anyway, my whining aside, those complaints should not be a reason not to get this set. It's something you'll probably watch two, maybe three times, but it's definitely DEFINITELY oh-so-worth-it.
If anything, it also makes for an excellent video to play on your big screen for background entertainment at your next house party.
Put it in your wishlist, wait for it to come on special again (R451 is TOO much to pay for this set), then SNAP IT UP!
