This is a decent product - does what it claims to do.
It requires some initial training, but once you've got it (and configured it for individual apps) you're good to go.
One thing that leaves a bad taste in the mouth, though, is that you lose out on a significant software bundle in SA compared to other markets (US, Aus, etc). And you pay a premium for that privilege.

I bought this larger tablet to replace the smaller Graphire tablet I've been using for years. Like all Wacom products, it's very high quality and works beautifully. While it doesn't mention it on Takealot's site and even their customer care told me it wasn't the case, the tablet DOES come with the wireless kit included - which is great. The drawing surface feels just like paper, but it does tend to wear the nibs down fairly quickly. There are two tricks you can use to lessen wear: adjust the pressure settings on the tablet so that much less pressure is needed, and, if they're still wearing down too fast, you can always put a sheet of acetate over the surface and draw on that. It works perfectly. Oh and, if you wonder where the 10 replacement nibs are when you unpack your tablet, just unscrew the pen holder - they're inside! This is a large tablet, so unless you're working professionally, a smaller one would probably be better. Otherwise, I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

It's big. In hindsight I would get the medium one. Large is great for more graphic sketching as opposed to general creative work. Also, on Windows, some of the special/additional functionalities are not quite smooth and seamless - a bit of lag here and there (like zooming and rotating with the gesture/finger controls). Pen is flawless and smooth though.
Other than than - it's changed the way I work in 3 days. Much faster. Would never go back to a mouse. The basic functionalities work perfectly.
