This is my first ever iPhone and I'm loving it immensely.
It has the hardware to match (if not better) the performance of the iPhone 6S and also carries the 12MP camera native to the 6S as well which means that the SE can record 4k video (but if you're going to do that, get the 64GB model as the 16GB on this one will probably fill up really quickly).
The smaller form factor, taken because the SE is built with the body of the 5S suits me down to the ground as I prefer the smaller model and it also means that the 4" screen uses less battery power than the larger 6S.
The trade off is that the secondary camera is only 1.2MP instead of the 5MP in the 6S. Both devices use the screen's light to manage lighting in "selfie" photos and I've so far been very impressed with the quality of photos I've taken with this little 1.2MP cam when compared to the 3MP camera in my old phone.
Since the last full charge my SE's battery currently sitting on 7 hrs, 30 mins of usage time with 26 hrs, 59 mins of standby time and its still on 23% battery remaining.
Low Power Mode helps to extend the battery life by sacrificing some features like mail fetch, background app refresh, automatic downloads and some visual effects. When on charge in Low Power Mode on the 5amp charger unit that ships standard with the phone, you can't use the phone fast enough to keep the battery low and it will charge to full even through continuous usage (I did this the first day I got it because I couldn't put the phone down).
So that covers storage, camera, battery, and - to an extent - ram.
It's basically the much more expensive iPhone 6S dressed up as an iPhone 5S and using a little less make-up.
I would highly recommend this phone to anyone who wants to get an iPhone and prefers the smaller form factor or to anyone who already has an older iPhone and is looking to upgrade.

Phone much more powerful than 5s like a little ninja can take photos that the 5s would be blurry people think it's a 5s with weak camera but it's a mini powerhouse the most powerful 4 inch phone

Junk, the screen makes a yellow border... apple say its burned due to screen being on for long periods of time.... The 4S did not do it...and its worked much harder. Iphone never again
