Obakeng, South Africa. 28 November 2016
This is such an excellent book. Not what one expected. Nothing about his stardom, comedy is mentioned in passing just to put things in perspective. Nothing about celebrities, fame and America. Nothing about the Daily Show and John Stewart and Hollywood. It's not "Look at me" kind of book. It's a "This is me, this is you" kind of book. It's a life story intertwined with small history lessons and common realities all too familiar to a South African society. It quietly puts a mirror in front of you and lets you reflect your own life through his. Told with that Trevor humour that we love. Excellent read!
Mark, South Africa. 24 November 2016

Angelique, South Africa. 12 January 2017
What an absolutely awesome read! Not only is it funny (in true Trevor Noah style), but it's enlightening in terms of how he grew up and what basically molded him into who he is and it's also educational with little snippets about how things were in SA during apartheid.
A definite must read!!!
Precious, South Africa. 24 November 2016
I cried and Laughed. Its beautiful to read someones story who not only shares his pain but how he never forgot to find humour in it.
Ian, South Africa. 16 December 2016
Probably the most readable and insightful look into overcoming a tough life, apartheid and difficulties after apartheid. Light hearted style shows up difficulties in a very poignant way. Pity about the swearing.
Farida, South Africa. 19 December 2016
This was an excellent read. I had to finish the book in a day as it kept my attention.
Morne, South Africa. 19 December 2016
Great book. Open honest and told in an open manner with a great sense of humour!
Frieda, South Africa. 10 March 2017
I thoroughly enjoyed the insight into Trevor's life and especially what I've learnt about his culture in a country where we were kept separate. Whilst I was not kept from people of colour we never got to really know each other and what each went through.
Ramasoaile Godfrey, South Africa. 16 January 2017
Sandra, South Africa. 25 November 2016

Kate, South Africa. 4 January 2017
Very interesting read, I couldn't put it down..it is however written for his American audience rather than his South African following.
I would recommend it, very honest and sincere...
