I think the game was based on "Heavy Metal 2000".

Most enjoyable. Reminded me of my youth (the last time that I saw it was on the movie circuit)

Just for da record, I believe there is a game about this movie called Heavy metal FAKK. Can anybody please confirm that with me? Tnx a bunch!

yes there was, but the movie came first then the game

Just to clarify: "Heavy Metal" (HM) the magazine began publication in the 1970's, they then made this movie "Heavy Metal animated" (HMa). Then many years later they made another movie "Heavy Metal 2000" (HM2000) in 2000 after which a game "Heavy Metal FAKK" (HMF) was made.

HMa includes the animated adaptations (some original works) of a few of HM's most popular contributors. Although HM2000 is billed as a sequel to HMa, it does not follow on from any of the stories in HMa. It is instead a standalone full-length feature presentation. The computer game HMF was then made and based directly on the HM2000 movie. HM2000 & HMF both star F.A.K.K a popular HM character throughout the 1990's.

In my opinion, HMa is of good quality for its time period in addition to its solid story writing (which I expected). Its a fun watch for fans of the magazine and genre's.
