Works quite well, but the paddle tends to be unable to turn when using it initially - it almost needs to be manually kicked-off so that the machine can then get into its stride!!

Works great, make sure you leave the bowl in the freezer so its always ready

I just made our first home made ice-cream and this little machine worked like a charm.
Hopefully it will continue to, and not give me the same issues as the other reviewer. I'm really impressed with it and the ice-cream was delicious!

It makes the most delicious ice-cream. You can't make a lot in one batch, certainly not 1.5 litres but it's really fun to experiment with flavours. I keep my bowl permanently in the freezer so that when more ice-cream is required - all is ready to mix and enjoy.

I made lemon sorbet and it sounded as if it hard a hard time during the process. Lots of liquids spilling out, spinning round on the surface. The sorbet was nice though.
great machine!, South Africa. 13 April 2017
As long as the machine is started before you add ingredients slowly from the top it works well. Also get the bottom of mixing blade to sit in the round indent in the freezer bowl. Can't believe how easy it is to use!

Not a good ice cream maker. The cap tends to jump off and coils up the electric cord. Dangerous!
Lynette, South Africa. 22 April 2017
Easy to use! Mum froze the inner bowl for 24 hours, mixed Coconut Milk, Ideal Milk, Honey & Vanilla and Cocoa Powder poured in the mixture and switched on and 20/30 minutes later perfect ice cream!

Very happy with the purchase. We've already enjoyed some amazing ice-cream from it.

Works really well! Easy easy to use. Family loves my icecream!

Makes great ice cream / sorbet / frozen yoghurt but only 500ml - 600ml at a time. Any more and it does not turn into ice cream , more or a milky slushy mess. Great product nonetheless, just far from 1.5L.
Marthinus Viljoen, South Africa. 10 October 2017
Considering the cost of this, it is very nice. We've had some delicious ice cream and sorbet we made in it. Easy to use

It could be that I don't know exactly how to use the product, but i find that when I pour in the icecream mix into the bowl after I set the paddle in motion, the liquid freezes hard too quickly before the paddle can get a chance to scrape it and stir it and as a consequence it gets stuck. It's a miracle the paddle hasn't broken because of it, especially since the paddle is made entirely of a polypropylene-type plastic without any metal reinforcement. What I do now is is pour in the mix without the paddle or the lid, manually scrape and stir it vigorously with a large strong plastic salad spoon or wooden spoon and when the bowl has lost enough coldness for the mix not to stick to its side so quickly, I place the lid and paddle on and let it stir it for me mechanically until the icecream has fully formed.
Suggestions on how I may improve my technique, should the fault lie with me, are welcome...

Very disappointing product! Leaks from the lid and messed all over the place. Only way it works is to hold down the lid with one hand while pouring product in at the same time. The blades get stuck immediately and had to restart several times. Despite freezing the bowl for much longer, ice cream was soft and melted immediately.

Does not cool , you have to put in the fridge for a day before it might work
