Literally a game changer!
I ordered this on a whim last week, and man oh man... it is incredible. As a sumo wrestling game addict I must say that I am neutral to xbox and ps and pc.. i just game what i like on whatever platform. BUT, this PSVR had my visiting Australian and Irish family who are in their mid 60's headering soccer balls (and my favourite) being in a shark cage being attached by a great white shark.
It can and most probably will, cause motion sickness at first but as you ease in to it, it will get better.
Lastly, what you are not told is that is does not include the MOTION controllers which are 1500 buck and the BEST games use these controllers.
So click add to basket then pop over to PSVR motion controllers and add that as well to your basket.

One word, Amazing. Most people should not play to long the first time. It makes you feel car sick. (Not everyone). Just play a little longer every time and you get use to it. After a week, it does not effect me anymore at all. It is a new word of gaming. If you get car sick easily first see if it will work for you if you can or know someone that has one.

Excellent product. I would advise that you taper your expectations just a tad though. The hardware still has its limitations. Resolution isn't quite what you're used to from playing games on an HD TV. Images are still quite grainy and textures tend to be a bit jagged. But the sense of immersion is still powerful nonetheless. And I'm sure will only get better as developers learn how to best work around the current constraints. Still, totally worth it. Nothing quite like VR, and Sony has nailed it.

I'm regretting this less than I thought I would.
This comes with a demo disc, and you can also download the Playroom VR game for free, and with the camera you can use the Playroom game too.
The demo disc contains 9 games, of which 5 make me sick and 4 don't. 4 of those 5 are high speed action games.
Playroom VR contains 6 party games. All multiplayer (1 using VR, rest not), and only 1 solo-able. None of these make me sick, and my non-gamer wife enjoys them too.
The media player is capable of playing VR videos, but only 1 type. It can also view VR photos of a certain format.
Finally, youtube has some VR-compatible videos to watch.
For everything else, the VR acts as a second TV, with a cinema mode for all games and videos. It even plays 3D blu-rays, but if you don't have a 3D TV, then it does not push a 2D image to the TV, but rather cuts the connection. The cinema mode is the feature I use most often. Cinema mode has been designed to be easy on the eyes, with a focus point a good distance away.
The image quality is poor and pixelated, but you get used to it.
The screens fog up from time to time.
The wires take some getting used to.
The headphone jack is inline near the VR headset, but it only works when it wants to.
Position tracking drifts off A LOT, but Sony are aware of this and you can restore the position with a push of a button.
The box the VR comes in is neat and strong. Ideal for storing the headset when not in use.
There's no need to buy move controllers, as very few games support these. The camera is all you need, and has a strong grip on top of my TV.

It's overpriced and you won't use it as much as you think.
It's still good quality and it is very fun.

got mine yesterday and it's amazing!! Definitely worth the wait! There was also a lot of speculation that the standard ps4 won't be able to run it probably but I didn't notice any lag at all and after you set up the headset to your eyes the images are very clear!

Be very careful before purchasing. The VR effect is cool to start off with but once that wears off you soon realise the biggest issue is the terrible back door lighting (seeing the gaps between pixels), personally it's so distracting to me the whole experience is ruined.

I did not get payed by Sony or any company to do this review this is just my opinion.
VR is here to stay.
This is really something ells not the same as the cheaper versions.
I did got motion sickness but went away.
I even connected my DSTV to it and it worked (:
VR is not like what most people think of it as an 3D experiance it is an emersion experiance you really feel like you are there.
3D and VR is far 2 differant things.
For the PSvr I will give it 5 stars but as far as content go i will give it 2 stars.
Plus Sony is adding 3D bluray support for VR on the next playstation 4 update 4.5.
The cables is not a problem for me I just think that wirless is not the way to go at this time cable is much faster than wirless so I understand the cable thing. And for those that wonder about a weard thing on your face well if you want to experience vr the only way will be for something to be on your face lol how ells do you expect to get inside a nother world unless they connect cables to your brain.I have no issues with the tracking. Plus the unit is very comfortable.
