For its price bracket it is an awesome little product.
Works as advertised,
Only detractor when using it with a PC monitor the machine capturing needs to be on and have the drivers installed in order for the output monitor to receive signal.

Works great on ps4 with HDMI, done not record game chat or your voice bit disappoint, on ps3 you have to use the AC 5 pin to record not the HDMI. Wish they told us that before u buy it. Otherwise is great for just recording game play and then edit your voice in later

I got this for my Xbox One to record gameplay. So far so good. The recorded footage is crisp and HD. Its pretty small and very easy to set up, took me about 1min to set up. Then you just need to install the software that come with it onto you're pc

The 4 stars are for QUality of the card. And I'd give 5 stars for Takealot service. As for usability and ease of set up this would get a one for PS3.
This took me exactly 6 days to get my set up right with a PS3. If you don't know. This only comes with a USB cable. For PS3 you need either an HDMI cable with an HDMI 1080p Splitter, or a component cable with FIVE RCA's. Good luck finding those. I managed to track down one on Xmods and had to get it shipped from Durban.
I also got the HDMI Splitter from Geewiz. They had a reasonably priced one which works. Not all splitters work.
So for HMDI You have PS3-HDMI-Splitter INPUT then TV-HDMI Spliiter output. Then Roxio Input- HDMI-Splitter output. PS3 needs to be set up for HDMI settings.
With Component cable ( once again the one with FIVE RCA's, not the composite cable that has 3.)
You do PS3 with component to Roxio input. And then Either component or composite to TV, or HDMI from Roxio output to TV. I used the HDMI between the Roxio and the TV.
You then need to change your PS3 display settings to component. There are videos on youtube and that come with the roxio card that shows you how to set up the settings.
Then we come to another important thing in this mix. You need a PC or Laptop to plug the Roxio in to, and to record video on. And the more powerful the better. We have 2 HP laptops, one has 2GB RAM and one 4GB Ram. With the 2GB I was able to record but the sound kept cutting out and it took ages to render and sometimes Roxio software crashed.
With the 4GB RAM, I've been able to get sound and a decent video quality on HDMI set up.
I can go either set up at the moment. With HDMI I get better quality but with Component I can use my Headset and mic. With HDMI I have to use TV Sound for game play which doesn't work well in a noisy set up and I can't use the mic. I have the 4Gamers PS3 headset, which is plugged in, so I can get game sound and mic through the headset, which you can't get with bluetooth headsets.
That's about it. Up to an hour ago I still wasn't sure if I will keep this Capture Card, or just send it back and have the shortest YouTube gamer career ever.
Right now after a heap of issues and troubles and setting up various variations in the system it is working, so for now I'm keeping it. Will let you know if more problems pop up and I choose to return it.
Just know this. It's not easy to set up with a PS3. Make sure you have the extra money for cables, and you have a decent computer available for recording.
