Super clear sound.

Excellent earphones. Perfect mids and highs for the price point.

Bought these as replacement for Skullcandy Smokin Bud 2's that failed after two weeks...Had these for a year on 14 September, and they are still going great.
Hands down the best in ears I have ever tried. The cushions are small enough to fit in my ears (which is a feat, literally all the other brands I've tried were too big, even the smallest cushions), and the angled channels allow for very comfortable wear all day.
To top it off the sound quality is incredible. No excessive bass or highs, it's simply brilliant.

My cx275s broke. I got met jbl. Wasn't satisfied. Bought these. Now my lust for music is filled by these awesome earphones.

Crisp highs, rich mids and clear bass. Angled steel ports with a range of ear gels to suit just about all sizes of ear canals, A very reasonable priced pair of earbuds for those who listen to higher quality lossless audio files, often far better than some of Sennheisers (and competitors) pricier models, durable right angled 3.5mm jack plug.
The cord length slider adjuster is completely useless and a nuisance but can be glued to stay put, Cable can be too long for some, No better than cheapo, device boxed earbuds if listening to lower quality, lossy MP3 audio files, Can sound terrible if the user doesn't place them in the ear canal properly without a good seal (logical), The right angled, durable 3.5mm jack plug can also be a nuisance in some cases.
A very good pair of earbuds at a good price for those who want to kick back enjoy good sound quality from their lossless audio files (Flac, Ogg Vorbis etc.) Not for those who desire a lot of bass, or for those who want to use them in the gym while working out, wireless bluetooth is a far better option for those types of activities.

So I've had these earphones for just on 2 and a half weeks and I believe I am ready to review them.
Overall; these earphones are great for general use and will work well enough for all different types of ears because of the selection of silicon cup sizes. The sound quality is great (If you get the earphones into your ear canal at the correct angle and depth, but once they're in that position they do not move) with just the right amount of bass to allow for easy listening.
Some key points that stood out to me:
Noise Isolation: Excellent! once these guys are in you can literally sink into your own world of music! I just went for a relativly fast paced cycle and these earphones don't pick up any wind vibrations! (Within reason).
Cable design: The cable has a very unique design (Oval shape) which ensures it doesn't get twisted or damaged. the ends of earphones are robust and don't appear to show any points of damage. The one thing to note that got me a bit confused is: If you put the Sennhesier divider up to the earphones and the jack manages to go through the open loop; when you pull down the divider you will notice a twist in the cable preventing you from pulling down the divider any further. To fix this, simply loop the audio connector back through that loop it originally went through :) (Stumped me for a few days)
Cons: Sennheiser logo's have a metal texture on them that can catch dirt quiet easily. wouldn't recommend putting these in a pocket, rather take out the silly white thing in the plastic box it comes in and just keep it in the white box with the clear lid.
Overall I am happy with my purchase and hope these earphones last a long time.

Best earphones I've ever had - great sound quality.

[First day owner feedback]....simply gorgeous sound. Ample bass capability when you dial it in, I find the default setting is a reasonable amount of bass to produce natural sound (for my ear). The drive body is smaller than expected, and the rubber buds are of decent size choice. Only caveat for me, the 3.5mm jack elbow is shallow and interferes with my rather bulky phone protector. so far a very happy customer.

Average sound quality

So I got these as replacements for my CX 300ii (Sennheiser)'s after they got stolen.
I decided to use the opportunity to upgrade to these bad boys. And can I say it was worth it. The crispness of the highs and mids are sensational and the bass is not overwhelming compared to most pre-premium(<R1000) earphones. (Not an earphone for bassheads)
I relish rock and more acoustic genres which gets absolutely wrecked by too much bass as it totally over powers the h/m's. (Which is the case with most cheaper earphones models, yes I mean you Skullcandy)
Conslusion: Just buy the CX3.00 if you can.
