I got these on a daily deal for a very good price. They really sound very good for the price. The mic works well but can not be bend to exactly where you want it.

These reviews make no sense, this headset is crap.
Sound Quality 3/5
Mic Quality 1/5
The mic pics up everything coming out of the speakers, no way im using push to talk.
Sound quality is acceptable for the price but you might as well break the mic off.
Back to my Logitech G230's.

Great entry level gaming headset. Great value for the price if you've got it on special.
Audio drivers are clear and distortion-free even at high volumes.
Padding is soft and the headset is light overall. Very comfortable even for longer durations.
Volume and Mic controls are conveniently placed. Note, if your laptop/Desktop only has a combo jack(single 3.5mm jack) you'll need to get a 3.5mm splitter to use the Mic during gameplay.

awosome what all of these negative reviews about

I got these on a discount sale. I wouldn't recommend getting them at their normal price. They're cheap, really cheap.
The material used to make the ear-pads is very synthetic and won't be comfortable in long gaming sessions where you sweat a bit. It also doesn't help that they might look like big pads, but they still press down on your ears. The plastic frame seems to be decent though, and the cord is braided, which is nice.
The plug system is a bit weird in that its cable just splits into the microphone and headphone aux plugs, but then also has the USB cable there as well. Looks very cumbersome if you're not using either/or. For the LEDs to work you have to use the USB.
The Sound Quality is so-so, as it brings nothing amazing to the table. Not surprising though, considering the price range.

Terrible headset. I bought this in December 2016 for almost R700 hardly been used and is already broken. Will never buy from Speedlink again

This is a pretty solid headset. It sits comfortably on your head, it's not too heavy, the pads are soft and the body has a satisfying velvety texture. The lighting is pretty but not mandatory (and leaving out the lighting will save you a USB port), and the nylon-wrapped cables are nice and tough.
The bass could be a bit stronger but I just used my system's equaliser to fix that (plus I'm using a laptop with a weak sound card so that may well be the culprit).
For R350 (I bought this on special) this is a great headset.
