A little as the available Tomtom software update seems to have caused the camera to now stutter. Worked fine the previous day.

The camera produces great footage as most reviewers confirmed. The sound is fair, provided the little stick on goatee brush is fitted over the microphone port. This reduces wind buffeting noise.
The camera has great battery life, the usability is good and the form-factor not too awkward to use.
The biggest problem of the camera is its mounting bracket. It doesn't fit snugly around the camera body (especially at the rear of the camera) which produces unbearable rattle sounds on the recorded sound-track and is also visible as very shaky video footage. (More than introduced by the trail's surface). This problem is especially noticeable when mounting the camera on a mountain bike handle bar.
TomTom user-forums cover the vibration topic extensively, which I only noticed after receiving my camera and was bewildered by the rattles on my footage. TomTom has produced a combination ant-rotation and anti-vibration clip which is supposed to cure the rattle problem.
TomTom states that the clip is included in the box of later release cameras, but mine came sans anti-rotation clip. If you receive an older camera, like I did, you will have to contact TomTom's customer care (UK) and request a clip.
I've tried to wedge a little piece of foam into the gap between the camera body and mounting bracket, but it didn't cure the rattles. The camera footage, in my case, is unusable. I've returned my camera. This really is not a cheap action camera, and one surely shouldn't have to put up with additional vibrations introduced by bad design? Google the problem and see for yourself.

Firstly, it's a great camera overall. The video is sharp, photos are good and it is really easy to use. The battery also lasts pretty decently - with my normal use (about 10 minutes of recording at a time with 10-20 minutes of not recording, but with the camera on) it lasts around 6+ hours. This is with the GPS and all the sensors switched on. The most impressive feature in my opinion is the array of sensors and the automatic highlighting. I use it mainly on my motorbike and the speed overlay is great for that.
The app is good on Android - not sure about iPhone - and the computer suite is nothing too impressive, but I don't use it to edit in any case. Both the Android app and the computer suite allow you to look through your library and cobble together footage by using highlights - useful if you want to put something decent up in a hurry.
Video settings are a bit more limited than GoPro and the videos are more saturated - not overly so, but visibly. Regardless it offers 4K/15fps, 2.7K/30fps, 1080p/60-30fps all the way down to WVGA at something like 180fps.
2.7K shooting is really nice if you're going to stabilize it afterwards, but I found it becoming very hot if I left it to record 2.7K while standing still for a while. Didn't have this problem with 1080.
Low-light isn't bad in video mode, no worse than the other cameras I've used - I'll call it average.
Photos are okay, but not great. I found that shadows are very dark in most of my photos, but if you have good light they're pretty decent.
It is a bit heavier than the competition - weighing in at almost 200g. But it is water resistant out of the box and you only need a diving lens to make it waterproof to 50m - no case required - which is nice. It also feels very sturdy and the Batt-stick, removable battery and SD card reader, is really nice. Most of my friends also agree that it is a beautiful looking camera.

Great camera! I use it for my racing. But be warned.. To get hold of the external mic adapter and hear rate belt is a mission and VERY expensive.
THEN, the software is in Beta phase so everything is experimental and flawed. All the selling points are useless. I have been on the TomTom forum from the start. I have tried using Dashware with the exported *.gpx file but nothing is picked up. TomTom do offer NO SUPPORT and NO REPLIES to my questions and requests.
You've been warned!

fantastic camera with foolproof on/off buttons. With helmet mounting wearing gloves it's easy to turn on so you can be sure it's recording.

This little action camera is amazing. Beautiful video quality, user friendly.
Just little bit disappointed in the mic, but an external adapter is available.
