I've played WoW on and off for the past 10 years. I played hardcore 40-, 25-, 20- and 10-man raiding, LFR, whatever you can think off. Recently I bought a 60-day game card for WoW to check out what Siege of Orgrimmar was like, but I couldn't even stomach the game for 2 weeks. I got a Guest pass from my brother for Wildstar, and thought why not? I thought the game would be crap, based on what I've seen and from the beta-related comments.
It wasn't crap. In fact, it's so good I haven't been able to put it down since I've started playing. It reminds me of Vanilla WoW, when everyone was still clueless and there was this excitement to see "what's next". If you loved WoW, you'll love this too. Steep learning curve.

Great game; quirky/different and yet all very standard MMO fare
You'll enjoy it if you liked Vanilla World of Warcraft, or are looking for a fresh MMO world with great game-play
It's a standard MMO experience and carries all the pros/cons associated
Plays well enough with South African latency

Been playing since the NDA closed beta. Loads of fun and looking forward to the official release.

Game did not impress me, got bored during beta and won't be purchasing this one...

There will never again be a freak accident like WoW, but this is the WoW killer. Best MMORPG out there.

I have access to the beta and I'm not impressed at all. The battle system is seriously lacking and gameplay is no different than any other mmo already out on the market. NCSoft should drop this game and bring Blade & Soul to the west already.

Absolutely love this game.
It's pretty time consuming, and does require a subscription after the first 30 days.
But you can play short PvP arena's, or do a quest or two if you can't budget time for a long dungeon.
That said, action combat is very gratifying in my opinion, latency is good as compared to other mmo's that I've played.
I haven't had any problems on my AMD setup.
The game is enormously expansive, and I honestly can't imagine a person would ever feel there is nothing to do in the game, because of regular PVE content (I.e. quests), adventures, dungeons, PVP battlegrounds, PVP arenas etc...
Art is beautiful. Their art team deserves infinte internet high-fives for their contributions.
Also, they've allowed for user mods (via their built in mod systems), so that players can make the most of the game. The mods are great at making play time more efficient as well as improving readability of the UI.

Bought this for my boyfriend. He says it's a great game, although there seems to be a latency problem for anyone with an AMD setup. Apparently they are working on the issue.

Wildstar takes a little bit from all MMORPG games but then spices it up with its own comedy fair. Think borderlands meets MMORPG. The game has great potential and I think it will surpass the 3 month life of most failed MMO games. Give this a go, can say almost to much content and enough to let you level multiple toons. And the crafting, you have to see the crafting.
Go on give it a go and have a laugh while you at it.

If you are looking for an incredible ass kicking mmo! you should definitely try out Wildstar !
